Of course I'm hoping for a long running time since the story seems pretty intricate, but after seeing how much good stuff was cut from Thor:TDW I just don't see them giving TWS a longer running time than any of the IM movies.
There's just so many varied reports of the running time, I would just ignore every single one of them until the movie is about a week or so away from release.

I know that ain't the answer you want to hear, but I'm pretty sure they're still cutting stuff; I think TeeKay himself is going to 2 (?) more screenings, and will probably no doubt cut them (unless those are just early viewings of the actual completed movie).

We can at least expect this to be over 2 hours. Whether that's 2 hours and 1 second or 2 hours and 20 minutes, we won't really know until the movie is 100% complete (as in, all cut content and all CGI), which I would expect to be finished anywhere from 1 and a half to 1 week before March.... what is it, 26th?

While I await Raleigh to be announced as one of the screening winners, here's Chris Evan's intro of the heroes montage from the Oscars:

I posted my screening invitation a week or something ago already which has the official runtime with 128 minutes.

Doesn't get any more official than an official Marvel document.

And yes. Our press screenings are always complete.

I guess we'll have to wait on the old reliable British Film Board to know for sure. Is the UK one of the places where the movie will debut on March 26?

I'm so nervous about the impending screening announcement! >__< I've gotten my hopes about seeing it early and it's going to be painful if the opportunity gets ripped away.

According to SF which is the swedish cinema company (yes there is only one, albeit huge) the run time is 140 min.

Same here! One of the big cinema chains in the UK called VUE Cinemas which is owned by Warner Bros. or Warner Village also says the film is 140 mins on the cinema website.

That's what I meant when I said times announced by theaters are almost always wrong because they include material not part of the movie---all the trailers that they run with the feature.

If they are saying 140 minutes---it will be shorter.

Therefore it's mostly useless info---unless you want to guess the length of the trailers for a particular movie.

That's 2 hours and 20 minutes, right? Didn't some of the people who saw screenings say they were shorter than that though?

I'd rather not spark off another runtime discussion to be honest, but I'm curious.

Anyone else think the Falcons costume will be upgraded by stark & eventually will give him a red & white suit.. Kind of like iron Spider suit ?

It's two hours and 8 minutes *points upwards*. I really don't know what else is more believable than a document sent out by Marvel themselves.

Maybe or maybe not , in the Ultimate Universe , Sam is a scientist and it will probably be the same in the movie . I guess he'll do it himself

It would be great if Mackie's Falcon is so well received Whedon gives him at least a cameo in AOU. So far things seem to be headed that way.

I have a feeling Falcon will be hugely popular and that might let him get a cameo in AoU; nothing big, but maybe a cameo. I highly doubt he'll even get a cameo though, but he should have a big chance of being in Avengers 3, that's for sure!

Also, do you think Falcon is going to remain Cap-exclusive? Sort of like War Machine being Iron Man-exclusive, appearing only in movies with Stark?

I think it'll be Widow or Falcon. But who knows, might even be TWS himself or Cap like you said.

If it's Cap I hope he gives him the signed collector';s cards.

EDIT: Anyone here seen a screening like TeeKay? If so, can you say if Cap uses his M1911?

It could even be Sharon Carter. Logistically it would probably be easiest to get her on for a guest appearance considering Emily VanCamp already has her show on abc which may even use sound stages right next door to Agents of Shield.

Same here. I hope both WM and Falcon will be in AoU, and in Avengers 3 they can bring in BP.

I doubt it would work like that. If he's in then it'll have been planned for a long time, if he's out then they probably won't change that since they'll have already started filming AoU.

It depends on the nature of the cameo. Whedon could easily write a scene for him in there somewhere during the filming and have him come in for a day and shoot it.

Not sure if this has been posted but Collider recently did a tour of the new CA exhibit at Disneyland and it looks kinda cool.

Ok if the

secret cameo is not CA then I agree it could be Sharon but I think if it was CA it would be a big surprise cameo. It would really shock the viewers and it seems the villains in the show doing the things to the heroes goes right back to CA and SSF. I mean how many times have we heard the villains say SSF and CA!
