Where did this come from? Peeps are saying it wasn't shown at CC so did Fox just leak it for the lulz?

It's....beautiful! *immediately gets sad because this is just test footage and we're still not sure if it's going to be actually made* ....crap....

Well, with the positive reaction across the net hopefully this gets some action and revives this ol' corpse. I wanna believe...I wanna believe!

That was amazing right there

We need this move to happen, Deadpool would reach superstar status if we get anything like we just saw.

That footage was glorious!

It's definitely the test footage Tim Miller shot (with Ryan Reynolds doing the performance capture & voice), that has been described by Rob Liefeld and the writers. This is similar to what Edgar Wright did with his Ant-Man footage. It gives the studio execs an idea of what the film is/would be.

I'd say they nailed it.

Even though it's just old test footage, it was awesome.
I never really liked the idea of a Deadpool solo movie, but now I am onboard

I don't know how a studio exec can watch that footage and not think there is an audience for it. Bizarre.

"There's no easy way to say this" but Fox you should have jumped on this flick from the get go. Ya ****ed up big time on not moving this forward...again. Green light this now!

That was brilliant and couldn't be more on the mark! Well done Miller and Reynolds! Ya'll get it.

When people are asking for this at every SDCC panel be it Marvel or Fox it's time to movie forward. Take a friggen hint Fox!

After watching that test footage, I hope he gets his own film as it confirms to me that he needs to be rated R. If he is in X-Force (should it happen) I don't know if they could make him that good

this screams movie addaptation on every second. So much potential, fresh, funny and badass, with a low budget this would become a fan favourite movie, and most general viewers would eat this up. Even with a smaller audience, this would be a decent hit, clearly

Yea it's kinda baffling that Fox would move forward with a Gambit movie and not this. If they made this for 60 million dollars it'd be a sure-fire hit. At least 200 million worldwide.

Alright. I liked the footage a lot.

However a movie with humor and a style just like I could see getting a lukewarm reception or at least be very polarizing

i thought it was pretty cool but i think its easy for people on here to say oh fox are crazy this would do fine at the box office but how do you know there will be an general audience for this?

Gambit probably won't be R rated while deadpool would be... so which do you think would do better? i mean if you look at dredd which didn't even break even and kick ass which was made for 29 million and actually did ok while the sequel made less but just about broke even with the same budget as the first film

its a matter of is it worth the risk and where is the audience for R-rated movies now days

They like good or fun movies and thats that. Its not comlicated. Sitting on this flick and doing nothing is completely pointless. Sell it if your not gonna move. Deadpool is too big of a property now. Or Fox can man up and take a friggen risk.....that isn't even that big. Marvel is shoving out almost $200 million on D listers. This flick has a 50M budget. Come on.

I hope they make Gambit too, but lets not kid oursleves. Deadpool is one of the most popular characters (in all the Marvel Universe) nowadays and this is getting ridiculous and extremely frustrating. The reception from this footage all over the net along with the script should be more then enough to boost confidence.

Its extremely easy to call out Fox cause they keep saying yeah it will happen. But nothing is happening. That's called bull ****. Scripts good, they have the right actor and this is proof the Director knows whats up. Either move forward with confidence or sell back and watch a studio who will make a ****load of cash on the character.

22 Jump street just had the second biggest opening weekend for a Rated R comedy behind the hangover part 2. While Deadpool won't be a comedy, 22 jump street shows if you can make a good rated r film it can still make money
