Default The Arbitrary, Overly Specific, Unsubstantiated Claims Thread!

So as always, we have the classic threads: off-topic, set pictures, costumes, actor appreciation, etc.

But here's something we don't have: a thread in which to make completely unsupported, but oddly specific predictions about things that'll happen in the film.

I'll start: At the end of the film, Lois will stub her toe as she's walking through the Daily Planet; the final shot of the film will be of her toe, deeply lacerated to reveal a metallic, robotic skeleton... Leading to Justice League: Metallois!

Brandon Routh will play Kal-el's long lost cousin "Le-Lak" and his alter ego will be basketball player Kip Ballington.

Jesse Eisenberg is a fake Lex Luthor. He was an actor named Gregor Hattery hired to pose as Lex Luthor by Jason Momoa who, at the end of the film, reveals himself to be the real Lex Luthor.

At the final battle, Clark's glasses TRANSFORM into Metallo and its revealed that Michael Bay was actually directing the whole time. Snyder was just a front man.

After losing his hair, Lex tries on various wigs in a 2 minute, 50 second montage set to Right Said Fred's "I'm Too Sexy."

In an interview after the film's release, says Terrio, "I just loved Tobey Maguire in Spiderman 3."

I heard.....now this is from an extra from the movie, who also has a friend that is an insider that is a close friend to the Christopher Nolan and who actually is Zack Snyder's assistant who works "Key Grip" for the movie. Well he told my friend, who lives in Detroit, not too far away from where the production crew is filming, well he told me that in the movie, that Batman and Superman meet up on a rooftop. That''s all. And that teh "S" is to small.

In an effort to differentiate from Christian Bale, Ben Affleck will be speaking with his Boston accent when he's dressed as Batman, while his Bruce Wayne will speak with a French-Canadian accent.

I heard there were going to be people in this film. What kind of craziness is that?

Lex will be marketed as the threat and built up as a genius with unlimited resources, only to be upstaged by the Joker in the final act.

Lies. I don't believe you. I'm pretty sure Superman isn't even in this film.

And the Joker is played by Heath Ledger. Warner Brothers staged his death in order to throw off suspicion that he would be returning for this movie.

Jesse Eisenberg is actually playing Alexander Luthor, the sole survivor of Earth 3, hero of Crisis on Infinite Earths and villain of Infinite Crisis.

Seriously, it wouldn't be bad casting.

Origins made me punt my controller across the room when it revealed who was under the mask.
