What I would hate those is if they go ahead with this film and it bombs completely, and then Marvel gets the rights back.
Yeah I feel the same way about the two properties. I don't care anymore about Fox's X-Men. I'll keep watching but that will be about it. Sometimes I wonder if Lauren Shuler Donner was fighting hard enough to stop Alex Summers from appearing in First Class. Quite frankly I think she's full of it!

Sony and Spidey on the other hand, I really don't mind with Garfield and Stone etc. They're looking to expand their universe and I do think it's a good thing. If anything I reckon Sony and Disney could work something out in the future moreso over Disney and Fox so that's why I'm riding on the coattails of Fox losing the F4 rights.

So apparently it's happening. Looks like i was paying close ENOUGH attention, huh?

Sony & Disney working together would be cool & just let Fox rot

After Avi Arad's recent comments, that dream of Andrew Garfield in the MCU is probably as dead as Hugh Jackman's chances. Sony is in horrible financial shape at the moment, though, so you never know. They may be forced to cut a deal at some point.

I don't see this film happening. And if it does it'll be a rush job that will end up losing Fox money. They'll want to sell the rights just to make up for it.

The problem isn't them wanting to sell the rights; its Marvel wanting to *buy* them. Unless it fails so bad that heads roll at Fox, I don't see it changing the fundamental dynamic. Fox wants more for the FF rights than Marvel is willing to pay.

Doctor Strange? i think he would have been perfect as Peter Quill (at least the one that appeared pre-Bendis). Moon Knight? heck, i bet he could do a great Frank Castle if they gave him a different hairstyle.
