56. I'm alright with that, for the most part. There are a couple dozen I've been meaning to get around to on Netflix, but some of the others.... I just don't have the ****ing patience to sit through nearly four hours of Gone With The Wind, I don't care how much of a classic it is...

Only 50, but then I've seen several classic movies that aren't even on that list to start with, too... (To Be Or Not To Be, and Casablanca, among others)

Same here. I have no problem sitting through some really long movies but I tried with Gone With The Wind and I could tell early on it's one of those movies that just isn't for me.

Yeah, I mean, you could probably play the first two Godfathers together as a single 5-6 hour film and I'd be into it, but Gone With the Wind?

Pass.

Surprised -- I thought I had seen some of these that in fact I missed.

I think they're playing it a little fast and loose with many of the more modern films that they're calling "classic". Not only is their selection weird, but it's kind of dumb for any movie released in the last ten years to even be listed. We have no idea which movies will be considered classics in the future.

Kind of shocked at some of them though. Scarface? Really. Carlito's Way is better!

Me too.

There are probably a good 5 or 6 I wouldn't watch for love or money.

Nice to see Dazed and Confused on there with all those classics haha. A few don't belong on there imo but overall it's a good mix. Bound to get subjective on the more modern ones.

Films have come a long way in the past 100 years. The General still cracks me up.
