LOVE the Tumbler and B89mobile. If this new one is some sort of mix of the two, as most seem to do these days... come at me, photo reveal.

I could see something like that, or a 'real world' bemused reaction ala MoS.

"Superman?" - "The alien, sir. That's what they're calling him. Superman." I also recall a caption from TDK Returns which read "The batmobile. That's what you called it, Dick. Kind of name a kid would come up with."

I do love the tumbler. It's ugly, sure, but it's a beast of a machine. I love that they designed a completely new working vehicle and that it wasn't just a shell. The 'making of' on the BB blu ray is one of my favorite features yet.

That said, 89 is a sexy beast. If this one combines the best of both worlds it'll be a good day.

With some minor adjustments, the Schumacher cars would've looked even cooler to me.

I have no problems with the Schumacher Batmobiles, it fits with the film so well. Oh and if we're talkin favorites, for me it's got to be 66 Batmobile.

and if I counted animated...you know it's BTAS.

Did DC not recently incorporate The Tumbler into the comics? I'm about 18 months behind on my comic reading.

really wouldn't be surprised if green screen is used for outside shots. Anything actually filmed outside could be the characters in their civilian clothes.

I really don't think they're going to let the hype get to its highest peak at the 2-year mark. They want the hype at its highest closer to the release date. Believe me, I KNOW I SOUND CRAZY when I say this, but I'm still not convinced we're seeing any suit reveals in 2014.

Stuff like the Batmobile, actors in their civilian clothes, like shots of Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent, Diana Prince, Lex Luthor, combinations of them together, THAT'S the stuff for 2014. Not to mention the official title of the film, the official logo, the launch of the website. These are the piecemeal things we can get out of the way this year, and then they can get nuts in Summer 2015 at ComicCon... That would still be an entire YEAR away.

Not gonna happen, we will get the suit reveals very soon.

The MOS suit was revealed on August 4th 2011, almost 2 years before the movie came out. Also, Principal photography started on MOS on August 1st 2011, 3 days prior to the reveal. We then had our spy pics of the suit around a week after the reveal.

I expect WB will follow the same time frame here, Principal photography starts on May 19th for BvS, IMO there is no way we will be waiting even until middle of June, suit reveals are right around the corner.

The design of the Batmobile changes pretty much monthly in the comics. It all depends on the artist really.

My favorite for the comics is the post NML batmobile and the 95-99 batmobile.

Pfft. A Batmobile that transforms into a mech trumps them all!

I think the Burton car will always be my favorite. Aside from being the version I grew up with, I love it's smooth brutal shape. Very industrial. It's like an SR71 blackbird mixed with an 80's Group C car.

This and the Batplane were the only things that I liked about the Burton movies.

The Batwing was incredible. I always forget about it until it shows up in the film.

Just beautiful! I guess I'm biased since I grew up with that version too, but it is the sleekest and sexiest out of them all so far IMO. I mean, look how low it sits to the ground and menacing the body shape is...almost can hear it growling

Imagine if Snyder does take off the tarp and releases a photo of it and the photo is a silhouette of the batmobile. Also he shall promise to release an actual photo on the next day.

I don't think he's that evil. Not to mention the backlash would be insane. He wouldn't set himself up for that.
