i love it, though these are the exact same changes i would have made. i absolutely prefer short ears, but the ears a bit nubbier than i would have liked (i would have ripped jim lee's cowl straight off the pages). still, it's the best suit ever. impressed with the fabric, too!

but i still want lenses.

My only gripe is that I wish the ears could be a little longer. Other than that I love it.

Love the suit.
i can't comment on flexibility because I haven't seen it in motion.

Can't help but feel let down by this reveal, which really irks me seeing as how BvS is the only comic book movie I'm really excited about seeing in the near future. I loved the reveal for MoS, the pose, how it was lit (the fact that it was in COLOR), but this is just underwhelming.

The biggest problem I have is with his pose. He's just standing there. And I'm not sure what kind of expression is on his face, but it looks like he can't wait to get out of the costume; like it's a chore.

Next is the cowl. I really didn't want rubber again. I think I would've preferred it to be CGI than rubber. And while I was a big proponent of short ears this time, I think they failed in the execution. It just looks wrong to me, somehow.

The symbol looks weird. I'm not sure if it's the design or just its size, but it's off-putting and doesn't look like a Batman symbol to me. I liked the Comic-Con one, but for whatever reason I'm not a fan of this one.

The suit's over texture looks... strange... to me. What kind of material is that exactly? It looks very stiff, and yet it has fabricy ripples in it? And it looks almost outrageously padded. I don't think I've ever seen a suit that looks this fake in its musculature.

All of that said, these are just off-the-cuff remarks made from a single black & white photo. Maybe I'll change my mind when I see some more of the suit when it's in motion and actually in color. I want to change my mind. Even with its abundance of flaws, MoS was still my favorite blockbuster of last year, and I'm still very much looking forward to BvS. I just hope they can pull it off and it doesn't turn into a studio driven disaster like TASM2.

Right now, though, all I'm feeling from this photo is disappointment. I guess I'll echo what others have said in that this looks like a cosplay suit; a well made one, but a cosplay suit nevertheless.

I like the Batmobile, though.

Looks great to me. They gave it a fabric-like appearance for the first time. I love the texture of the suit. I'm assuming storyline wise that the armor is under the cloth as it is in the comics. It doesn't blatantly look like he's wearing body armor for a change.

Jury's out on the neck's flexibility. I wonder if cowl is made of some leathery fabric that allows movement? I'm not a costume designer, so I can't comment on if it's that possible or not.

God forbid fans enjoy what each company's movie studios are doing with their product without putting each other down.

The "better than Marvel" stuff is unnecessary and all it's going to do is rile people up and get infractions, probations, and bans going.

I wanna see a full color, full body photo that's square with the front of the suit. After that, I can say for sure, but from what I can see so far, I think I really like it! The short ears and the cape are my favorite parts. The belt looks like an actual utility belt as well.

I wonder if there's going to be much in movie explanation of what the suit is made out of, like in the nolan films? Batman's always been about his tech so I hope so.

Like... this is the first time Batman has legitimately been adapted to live action. Everything else has been a "version" or a "representation" of the comics. This is actually it for the first time. It's a very eerie feeling.
This this this!

Last thing, before bed. Yes, I'm sure there'll be debate on the pros and cons of the suit ahead, as we'll need something to talk about to keep us occupied until 2016. But for now, this is my impression: when thinking about this movie Batsuit, and how it might end up looking, I was apprehensive. I was worried that we'd end up just getting more of the same, nothing that was drastically different from the Batsuits of the previous films. I had in my head a picture of what I hoped, in an ideal world, we'd get, while not daring to seriously invest in us getting that ultimate Batsuit. Now, today, that ultimate Batsuit that was in my mind's eye is right there on the screen, standing in front of the Batmobile. And wherever else this film succeeds or fails, this is something I have to take away as being a huge win.
