Okay, the rhyming title's a bit cheesy.
Personally, I'm glad Snyder dropped his usual slo mo stuff for MOS. But, I know some folks love that stuff. So, what's the fan consensus (or at least on this forum anyway) ? Bring back the slo mo, or leave it out again. |

Yes. But in moderation.
I never had an issue with it. I liked it's use in Watchmen and 300 and was actually slightly disappointed that it wasn't employed in MoS.

Leave it out.
You have to be careful with slow-motion, particularly with Hans Zimmer score playing in the background. It will not come off dramatic, just lame. |

Loved the visuals of MOS. Keep it all. Zooms, hand held cameras, washed out colors and ZERO slo-mo.
Save the slo-mo for JLA. 5 or more superheroes doing their thjng in battle? That's the time for sllow-mo. In this, I would like to see Snyder and Fong give us speed, Speed, SPEED! |

A little slo-mo in key places would be good.
I would love a scene like this except with superman instead of the Spartans and robots instead of the Persians.

A multiple saving action in slo-mo would be superb!

Nope, maybe for one or 2 sequences at the most. What I admired the most about Synder's direction for MOS is the fact that he adapted his direction style to suit superman and not the other way around thus giving us the most epic superhero action on screen yet, I remember having a geekgasm when I saw Faora rip through the soldiers at super-speed.

Right, that was little like watching a superhuman/alien fight for real. It was like you were there live. Imagine how much less effective it would have been in slow motion. |

After all the complaining before MOS about Snyder and how he'd ruin it with slo mo, I was disappointed there was none at all. I think it would be cool in some key spots.

I think there could be room for slow motion to emphasise something epic, but not overboard. It would cease to be special, then.

I think if its used, it needs to be from the beginning of a shot. I don't want to see Batman start to throw a punch in regular speed and then it be slowed. It just interrupts the continuity. Maybe he throws the punch and then it cuts to another camera angle and it shows the affect of the punch in slow mo. But I'd prefer it to be very limited and used only in epic shots. Like Batman jumping out of a window of an exploding building with the sound effects turned down and Zimmer's score blaring.

Hell yes if it's used like in the Arkham Origins trailer. Hell no if it's like Watchman or 300.

Not important. I don't really notice slo-mo if the movie is good.

It's not going to make or break the movie for anyone. Nobody will walk out of the theatre saying, "I really wanted to like that movie, but the slow mo scenes really did it for me... I hated it!" or vice versa. As long as the fighting scenes are memorable, I couldn't care less what they do. Tons of slow mo, some slow mo or no slo mo... I just want badass action.

The Arkham Knight trailer use of it was really awesome. It would make sense to use just for a bit before Flash takes off.

I think some slo-mo is going to be necessary if Batman is going to be performing some really cool feats in this one. It's not really needed for Superman though, it's a good way to show the power and ability difference.
