i don't see the problem with us getting the joker in this film. it wouldn't mean we wouldn't get to see the joker again at all. in fact, I'd prefer it if they have these recurring battles, with the bat story ending with them fighting each other.

I would prefer they save the Joker for a solo film (in fact, I'm willing to concede the solo flick.) The film is already stuffed with characters and plotlines; inserting him in would be detrimental, unless they capped his screen time to two minutes, with a sequence of Batman taking him down.

We read Killing Joke.. And thought YES!

Then they hired Jack..
Which was cool, but not as cool or dark as this could have been.
When he was cast as the Goblin years ago? We thought.. Damn.. Too late now..
Maybe not?

Yep, doesn't need much improvement to be awesome on film. I think it can still be successful. The 2 Quicksilvers will probably be a lot slower.

It does seem to be a lot of intros of HUGE characters for one film. I'd be ok with Lex and Joker being recurring characters and I'd need to see them in solo films as well as this if it happened.

I expect a 3 way dead heat (in costume).

So Namor might be getting his own movie before Aquaman ever appears. He IS pretty much the original Aquaman, just like Flash is the original Quicksilver in ways.

Looks like Flash and Aquaman will end up looking like rip-offs to the general audience.

We can criticise WB/DC's past ambitions but at this point it looks like they're going full steam ahead and if it works out it shouldn't matter if a couple of characters with similar powers have been done. With Flash they can make him a lot more powerful in line with the other JLers so that it will work quite differently on screen.

If audiences can separate two Quicksilvers, they can separate Aquaman from Namor.

Besides, Namor and Aquaman are two different entities. The latter is an on/off villain and the other has a rich history with the League.

Yea I give audience members a little more credit then that. They might get confused for a few moments but once names are established they will know the difference.

Me too....I thought he'd be the perfect choice back then. Now...if they ever did an actual DKR live-action, he'd be perfect too.

No they wouldn't

Flash and Aquaman have been in the pop culture conciousness longer than both Namor and Quicksilver.

Nah. If Jesse Eisenberg's taught us anything, it's to expect the unexpected. Ladies and gentlemen, this man will be our new Joker...mark my words.

I think I might be in the minority when I say that I have no interest in seeing them cramming as many big time dc characters into this film as possible. Have some forgotten on how that same route worked out for x3, origins, and spider-man?

Me neither as they should save that for the Justice League film. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Cyborg are enough for the MoS sequel.

Agreed. I ve seen some who also want to see, on top of everything we already have, the likes of nightwing, doomsday, and brainiac appear.

We'll.. I am in the minority as well..
Heck.. I would love to see all of the other characters be VERY small little teases..
I would like it to be just..
Bruce.. And Clark..
Batman, and Superman..
Lex, and Metropolis..
The Fortress, and the Cave..
Alfred, and Lois..
That would be fine by me..

Give these important characters smile time to gel, and some time for us to enjoy them together..
Too much.. Too soon.. Can't help but feel that way at times..

If they want Nightwing, then use him for the Batman solo film.

As for Doomsday and Brainiac, definitely for a Man of Steel solo sequel down the line.

For Batman, the only character from his world in MoS sequel is Alfred and that should be enough right there as far as he's concerned.

The key here for the MoS/ DCU film franchise is to leave us wanting more. If they start overcrowding, it may cause us to not want to see a JL film.

Who's the Villain for BvS? I can see Brainiac being used for Justice League and Doomsday for the last Superman/Justice League movie. Please don't say Metallo , we need a character that is not similar to Altron or whatever he's name is

Haha, smallville Aquaman! Worst/funniest line in the show was that dude showing up and saying "wet and ready Clark".
