I salute you good Sir! After the BTAS score, this one is my absolute favourite! Although, since it seems that the link you posted was a recreation of the original, I found a link of one recorded directly from the game. If this or anything like this is the Batfleck theme, I'll cry like a kid with happiness in the theatre!

That's perfection. Makes me feel like I'm in the dreary streets of Gotham.

And in the game you actually are! How cool is that.

^ Very cool. Music is one of the many things those games do so well.

Spot on about the choir influence. Adds a bit of a haunting aura, which suits Batman perfectly.

Sadly,we're never going to get anything Walker or Elfman inspired.

Finally got around to watching the Town. Excellent direction and solid acting from Affleck.

Honestly for me - whatever negatives I find in Affleck as Batman the biggest positive is the possibility of him directing a solo Batman film.

My only concern with Affleck directing a Batman film would be that it would be too similar to the Nolan films. At least visually. Based on The Town and Argo, I'd think Affleck would go for a more gritty, realistic tone again.

I'm satisfied with the TDK trilogy for that type of movie, I would prefer a more fantastical, BTAS/Arkham style for the new Batman.

Not if he has to adhere to the style that is set in BvS.

The music in the Arkham games was one of the best things about those games. SO perfect. The music was a blend of BTAS, Burton and Nolan

Do you mean Danny Elfman and Hans Zimmer? I find a combination of the two almost impossible to fathom.

I don't really care if Ben Affleck directs a Batman movie, I'd rather he just star. The True Detective people need to direct a Batman movie.

No. i didn't mean that. I'm well aware of both Elfman and Zimmer, reg.

Listen to what i quoted. That theme combines the aesthetic of the Burton/BTAS themes and the Nolan themes. The Nolan/Burton music influence is clear.

I don't get what you mean by "Nolan music" if you don't mean the music used in the Batman movies he directed, which was composed by Hans Zimmer.

I'm not trying to be obtuse here, but genuinely don't understand what you mean.

How awesome would it be if the new Batman theme had a few notes from the 89 movie theme?
I like Zimmer, but Elfman created the definitive Batman theme.

I love that theme mash-up.

And actually, Zimmer included a very sly nod to the Elfman theme in the TDK score. "I'm Not a Hero". I don't care what he or anyone says, it was intentional. Zimmer and Danny are friends.

BTAS has done that a couple of times.

Yeah the BTAS music seemed to be pretty heavily influenced by Elfman's score. The show was a reaction to the success of the movies.

That's true, right down to Selina Kyle's blonde hair, Penguin's retro mullet, and The Joker's fat ass.

Yep I think that's his contract with WB he appears in these team up films and then directs the next Batman solo outing. Also I bet he's going to do a few other films for WB non comic book related.

This may have been mentioned but since themes are being talked about here, I'd be thrilled to get one for BvS That sounds something like the theme from The Dark Knight Returns animated film.

It fit beautifully and in a way sounds like what I'd expect Zimmer to do with a BvS theme.

That's fair... with his style, I could easily see him directing a Batman film that directly follows Nolan's trilogy and it could possibly fit with those films seamlessly. However, it's totally possible that he could incorporate some of the more fantastical elements as well... it's just that, up to this point, his films have all been realistic dramas.
