i actually don't hate that Batgirl suit, but I don't want Robin and Batman to wear anything similar.

Did they de-age her or something? Wasn't Barbara in her 20's? She looks like a teen there. It's an ok look that will be completely odd standing next to Batman.

yeah agreed with that last sentence.

It works for a suit that Barbara would use before she's officially endorsed by Batman. If she's working with Batman, I'd imagine he'd have something made for her that's a bit more durable.

IMO this suit was perfect. This is the look of someone partnered up with Batman and Robin. and makes sense for someone who's already taken a bullet for the cause

This has the look of cosplay

i actually like both designs. maybe the leather suit is the one she wears before working alongside Batman and Robin, and she gets the armored one once she's already worked with them?

I wouldn't have a problem with that

I cannot understand the relation with the concept of a creature of the night (to scare the **** out of bad guys) and the color scheme adopted for the Batgirl. I mean, a yellow cape and a vivid purple?

I can live with a black/grey with hints of purple/yellow. And I always liked the ninja vibe to Batman (and family), with guantlets, cowl with hood-like features, long and pointy cape etc.

I loved his work on the "Savage Tales" books, and his Tarzan cover illustrations......

Completely agree about the new design, although I'm not a big fan of Jim Lee's initial degisn either, always more of a blue / black yellow man myself, the purple always seemed out of place.

Back on topic. What's your number one concern about the batsuit? I'm afraid it will look puffy or otherwise bulky in motion.

THIS is the perfect Batgirl suit.

I guess it would be how he wears the cape whilst fighting. If the cape covers his arms, will it limit his arm movements? Or will he do the 'folded back on shoulders' thing each time he's fighting?

That, and Bat-neck.

Dina Meyer actually wore a variation of that costume on the short-lived TV series Birds of Prey.

I was never a huge fan of the boots with Heels on the costumes of just any girl or woman superhero.

I hope it doesn't look too puffy or bulky like of how Spawn looked in the 97 movie. CGI cape SMH. I hope he can turn his head.

Agreed, although Damian's suit looked like this. It looked like it was made from normal clothes instead of looking like tacticool armor. Of course it was armoured and all that underneath.

However, I maybe wouldn't have the cape buttoned on.

Agreed. They said they're going for a lighter and funner tone, so the suit reflects that. From what they said it will be closer to Stephanie's BG run, rather than Simone's grimdark one.

Just for once I would like to see the comic suit. Done properly of course. Don't get me wrong I like batflecks suit. But to me it still seems like Hollywood's version of fan boy desires. Instead of actually trolling or something. to take into account what we actually want and following through with it.

And what is it "we" want? Because I know for a fact I don't want some spandex costume with trunks on the outside.
Imo Afflecks suit darn near perfect for me. It looks very tough and durable and not overly heavy. Not to mention being black and grey.

Comics don't always account for texture detail and movement of a suit the way live action differs.

Granted we've only seen one pic, but there's nothing in that pic to suggest this is not the comic suit done properly.

Is that a modified, recoloured version of Alicia Silverstone's Batgirl suit?

Did I not say I am a fan of Afflecks suit. What I'm referring to is simple but irrelevant as I'm not looking to start a debate. It is close to my dream suit just needs a few little touches. But as pointed out we have only seen one black and white picture. So obviously I will reserve my final judgment.

Also your no more an expert on what fans want than I am. So when I say it I'm referring to me and my group. And you assume you know what I'm saying fans want NO ONE wants spandex. You know what happens when you assume and I don't associate with asses.
