I can't wait for this!

And I just don't see the film getting an extended cut with Rogue scenes because if they include Rogue scenes in the actual movie then some things in the story will be changed, Iceman dies earlier, Kitty doesn't have her hands on Logan at the moment Sentinels are back to blast them, etc... Its not similar to the extended to The Wolverine, where the deleted scenes just enhanced the film.

Did she finish all her scenes? it might be possible, especially if they're finishing the CG. I mean it would not hurt. My brother is pre-ordering the bluray so if an extended one comes out..I'll get that one lol

Agreed, I like the design of the 70's Sentinels and all but that cover is pretty uninspiring, would much prefer one of the official posters with all the characters in as a cover.

Any predictions on when the movie will be released on DVD/Blu-ray? I say somewhere between September - October.

Yeah nowadays you're looking at 4-5 months from release date in cinema for the Blu-ray/DVD. I'd say October. Can't wait.

I agree. Extended cut makes no sense but an alternate cut does. Then we can see the movie the way they originally intended. Jmo

I wonder if Best Buy will have exclusives as well?

Best Buy was the only one to carry Limited Editions for X-Men Origins: Wolverine and The Wolverine.

I think I“ll pre-order the Magneto“s helmet edition from Amazon and if a cooler Limited Edition comes along for US, just cancel Amazon“s.

About the one with the Cerebro helmet... I've never seen the point in buying those 'complete series' things when we know the series is continuing shortly (in this case X:A). Like those Bond box sets, I mean... why?

That UK book thing looks interesting. But it will probably be the regular old bluray 2 disc edition for me. Here's hoping for special features on par with X-M 1.5, X2 and SR (and none of that ultraviolet exclusive **** MoS pulled!).

Ah those Bond boxsets. Thought I'd got myself such a deal, now Skyfall is out and it looks absurd next to the pristine set

I just wish the steelbook looked half good, that cover is super lame

Agreed. So copy and pasted. Given how great their First Class and The Wolverine Steelbooks were I'm bummed too

Think I'll probably get the Empire covers book. I loved those covers, would be a very nice set to have

I want something like they did with X-Men 1.5 with:
- Deleted scenes (and the option to play those scenes during the actual movie)
- Commentary
- Behind the scenes

I'll probably get the steel. I've got X1, X3, First Class and the Wolverine on steel so I don't wanna break up the set

I bought Wolverine in steelbook last week (to go with my DVD... yes I'm an idiot but it was cheap) so another steelbook is tempting... But I don't want the 3D Blu!!

What's the difference between a MetalPak and a steelbook?

Damn, I just realized that the Blu-rays do not include a DVD copy.

I think it's too early - they're just now announcing the features for CA:TWS and that came out almost two months before DOFP. Don't think we'll get any information on the release until probably mid to late July or even August.

Not to be a debby downer but Singer has never made an extended cut for any of his films. However, he did go back and finish deleted scenes for Superman Returns. He did do the Xmen 1.5. It will be UP to FOX. But I can tell you from what I have been reading, the film changed so much on the go that it seems to not be a film you can just add scenes like THE WOLVERINE film.

Honestly, I don't want an extended cut of DOFP. I did for The Wolverine because I knew what was cut and knew it was cut for a PG-13 instead of an R rating.

DOFP doesn't really need an extended cut. But it'll be nice to see some deleted scenes. And normally, scenes are deleted for a reason; don't further the story, slow down the pacing, etc.

I pre-ordered the 3D Combo and the 2D combo pack. Just in case it's another Prometheus Blu-ray where the 3D release gets all the extra features and the 2D just gets deleted scenes.

Brought this Blu-ray collection from Sam's Club:
Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:

It contains the Blu-ray of X-Men, X2, X3, and FC. No XMO nor The Wolverine, but for $20 it was a good deal.
