They didn't "set up" Wolverine to become a Horsemen at the end of DOFP. That COULD be what's going on, but it's not at all clear. We don't know WHAT exactly that last scene is supposed to mean. For all we know, Mystique could be forming her own Mutant vigilante team and wants Wolverine to be a member.

Not that this matters to the movie, but is the storyline where Wolverine becomes a Horseman any good? I heard it was stupid and cheapened Apocalypse.

I think it's a really cheap move in the comics and would be just as cheap in film.

I think it's clear Mystique was rescuing Logan from being a victim just like she saved the Havok and the others earlier. It's only "clear" that he's becoming a horseman because that's what people want to see since they know the next film features Apocalypse and that they know Wolverine has been a horseman in the comics.

If anything I think it just means that Logan won't have his adamantium going forward so he may take a back seat in future films since he's not as formidable and won't be on a quest to uncover his past.

I think those who think Wolverine won't get his adamantium back and won't play much of role In future films are fooling themselves.

And you think he will be in wolverine 3 with no adamantium?

I think it fair to say the ending was teasing something and kinberg said it will be addressed in apocalypse so it seems logical that wolverine will take place of angel by getting his adamantium and being turned into death the same way angel would have been turned into archangel

Kinda reminds me of the 90s cartoon where mystique was working for apocalypse and tricked warren into thinking he would be cured but ended up becoming archangel

^ I agree with HIA. Just because Mystique took Wolvierine doesn't mean that he'll be turned into a Horseman.

This was just an idea that I came up with.

Is it likely others may have come to the same conclusion? Sure, afterall Wolverine was turned into the Horseman Death by Apocalypse in the comics. But all I'm indicating is that I was the first one to post this concept, and add in the connection of Mystique.

Honestly, I'm hoping that this happens, but I'm not positive. It's just an idea of something they could do!

That's what I think could happen as well,...before he becomes the Horsemen of Death.

It is possible that Wolverine and Mystique encounter Apocalypse at some point and he turns them both into Horsemen. However, I just don't buy the "Mystique is secretly working for Apocalypse" theory, at least not right now.

The Four Horsemen:
1.Wolverine (it would nice to see his character be different from what we have seen before).
3.Gambit
3.Deadpool
4.Phoenix or Angel

It's not going to be Angel. The movie takes place in the 80's, where Angel would be WAY too young if he was even born yet.

Darwin is dead, and there wasn't much of him left, so making him War would be tough.

Having Angel (assuming you mean Warren and not the lame dragonfly looking chick from First Class) as Famine doesn't make a lot of sense. They would have to spend a lot of time making it happen, explaining how a baby (cause that's what Warren should be in 1983) was turned into this Horseman. To me that only makes sense IF they make Archangel the main Horseman, which would mean not using Wolverine.

Wolverine was first introduced in The Incredible Hulk. There's no chance that Wolverine's rights could work like Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch... right?

X-Men at Fox is something I'm okay with. But Fox shouldn't have Fantastic Four and Sony shouldn't have Spider-Man.

But the X-Men are in good hands at Fox, and I don't think the MCU necessarily needs the X-Men.

It'd be great for Wolverine to show up in the MCU but beyond that, I don't think any other X-Men member would be that necessary

Well they bought the rights and Marvel let them have it in the 1st place. So its fair and square in my opinion.

Those studios will never, ever, give up these cash cows now.

We just need to come to grips with Sony having Spiderman, and Fox keeping the X-Men, and worse, ruining the Fantastic Four.

Ah yes, declaring a movie to be "ruined" before a single set photo is released, a single plot synopsis revealed, or a single second of actual footage shown. It's statements like these that give comic book fans a bad name.

That par for the course when it comes to Fantastic Four reboot ever since 2012.

Remember these things said about X-men days of future past

It sucks because simon Kinberg Is writing

Bryan Singer can't direct a good film because superman returns sucks

It's doomed now that Matthew Vaughn who directed only good X-Men film Isn't directing and hack Singer Is

It sucks that Hugh jackman and Original cast are in film to take time away from Superior First Class cast

First Class should have been reboot instead of tied to overrated Singer films

Fox sucks

They haven't released trailer so it must be terrable

Quicksilver looks awful

How dare Fox and Singer use quicksilver when Joss Whedon Is using him In Avengers

Fox should just give X-Men back to Disney

I am sure there were others.

These are way even though I am not a big fan of ultimate marvel line I am waiting till I see footage before making up my mind on FF reboot.

Agreed. X-Men: First Class also had a bad hype from the start. But look what happened when the film was released.

Personally, I want FF to be on its own. So we can have a 4th separate Marvel film series. X-Men, Spider-Man, MCU and 4th, Fantastic Four. I just hope it does well to guarantee a trilogy.
