It needs a few tweaks, but i think the overal idea is solid. I much prefer it to all the Xena/hoplite/centurion inspired suits that make her look outdated, out of place in our world, and frankly, quite barbaric.

I guess it is a bit like Sif's but what can you do?

Can I ask why a Greco/Roman fantasy warrior type outfit for WW is outdated and barbaric, but what Hemmsworth wears in the MCU is NOT?

Again, reminding any and all, that I'm for MANY outfits to be worn by WW, for different occasions.

What are you talking about? His armor looks very sci-fi.

Not to me or others. It's fantasy, straight up, with the mail type arms. It's the fantasy armor of a "god". As it should be. No one balked at him standing next to the truly sci fi Iron Man, the green radioactive monster-man in torn pants and the the super soldier decked out in a flag themed uniform. The dissonance of the characters IS the point of super groups like the Avengers, the JLA, the Defenders and the Outsiders.

WW has the potential to be so badass on screen.

Being a warrior who uses weapons, she can do things that Superman and Batman can't do.

True, there are some on screen moments with weapons that she can do ala Batman (so to speak). Then there are actual superpowers like Superman. Pretty cool

I like it. I'd give her more traditional versions of her emblem and tiara, and would give her either pants or a battle skirt. Using both just doesn't look good.

How awesome is that. And to think some people would be happy not to see the lasso.

If they got the breast plate detail right, dropped the shoulder pads and got rid of the pants your onto something. Quite like the layered battle skirt. The Star should be on the tiara.

I've personally found it hard to believe people really have so little imagination as to need proof of concept that the lasso can be a formidable weapon at WW's side. Ropes and whips have been shown time and time again to be used to great effect. With Zack's penchant for visuals and choreography, it's a given that the lasso could really be a showstopper in the movies.

Seconded. The quality of the cosplay is awesome, though. A really well-executed interpretation of that costume, but I hate the black jacket and pants look. It's such a dated look, and really gives her an air of immaturity.

While I'd rather WW wear this than the classic costume, this isn't my preference. It seems pretty antithetical to dress someone from a mythos with pseudo-historic influences in something that resembles common club wear.

I like it! It's not 100% what I want, but it has the right vibe. She looks capable and like she's ready to do things besides looking pretty.

The jacket belongs on Cassie Sandsmark before it should ever approach another member of the Wonder family.
