Burton likes Batman, he will never read a comic, but he said he likes Batman

We already had a Guardian gone bad in the first Green Lantern. And the Guardians are generally good, would they be mind controlled or something? TBH, if we got the Guardians as villains for that movie, I'd be disappointed. There are so many amazing Green Lantern, Flash and DC villains in general that could and should be utilized.
It's hard to think of villains that would require both Green Lantern and Flash, but at the same time, this villain can't be such a threat that they require the entire Justice League to defeat...Between Green Lantern and The Flash, i think Sinestro is the best villain, i think he should be utilized somehow..

Also, I gotta say that I'm not a fan of any villainous Kryptonians coming back. We've had angry Kryptonians in 2 Superman movies, now I've had enough of it, I definitely want something new. Maybe they can bring in Supergirl, Brainiac and Doomsday and they can have ties to Krypton, but I don't want another angry Kryptonian storyline, it'd be repetitive.
A lot of people want Faora to come back, and I'm pretty against that idea myself, they should make room for other villains instead of bringing her back.
If we get a Man of Steel sequel, bring on Kara and Brainiac

The first Green Lantern Guardians were Manhunters but they choose to use Guardians and replaced the Manhunters.

I just prefer practical over CGI. There were places they needed it and some they didn't.
Jurassic Park is a movie that featured practical and CGI.

The CGI in Jurassic Park was ahead of its time

The Guardians first built the Manhunters, then they decided they need officers with emotions, and they chose the Green Lanterns

One thing I'm curious and a bit anxious about, given Green Lantern's failure, we know they've chosen to ignore the events of that movie it would seem or there'd be a mention of a bizarre alien like creature in Coast City(I guess...right?). So, since we kinda know a Green Lantern will be in JL based on the leaked WB plan, are they going to try and explain the Green Lantern Corps again in Justice League?

I'm trying to imagine the right way to reintroduce the concept in a team up movie.
I've always felt the Green Lantern Corps and the Guardians would be a good way to introduce a cosmic threat to Earth.

I know Superman is the launching point but I don't necessarily think he has to be tied to every threat in the team ups...though that's probably common sense.

But to get back to my point, do we think whoever the Green Lantern is, they'll reboot the origin in the JL movie or just bring them in and elaborate in GL/Flash?

We kinda have to assume there's no current GL from Earth at the time of MoS or they'd show up.
They could get the ring in the two years between MoS and BvS or have been away in deep space during MoS.

Idk.
Thoughts?

Yea but Zack really has used CGI a lot in his films. I mean a lot. 300, Watchmen, the one with the girls.

Jurassic Park was a good mix and I don't mind a good mix. I think MOS is a good mix but most of his films relies heavily on CGI.

I agree...Superman has too many good villains for us to keep going back to the Kryptonian well

There's a reason why the term "vocal minority" exists.

For example, If you put MOS in a poll right now, there's a good chance it would win that poll. It won a "Best CBM of 2013" poll here on the hype. Which is why I have to roll my eyes at people complaining about the complaining. Especially when some of them were around when films like SR were getting dumped on for 5+ years straight and didn't say a word.

Using CGI is not a bad thing. Using CGI instead of a story is a bad thing.

People have a right to hate or love whatever they want...but when people try to derail a thread with their hate is where it becomes a problem.

Honestly, I felt The Wolverine was the best film of 2013 out of the CBMs. The first 2 acts were great but the third was very meh. Still it just felt different and I liked it. No world coming to the end.

And...I've seen that happen due to SR criticism and pot shots.

In those cases, the only people who seemed to care were the mods.

Now its only become a problem due to MOS?

I hope Darkseid is more along the size of him compared to Superman in the DCAU then New 52.

I hate the New 52 giant Darkseid.

No, I'm just noting the hypocrisy of some SHH! Superman fans.

Thread derailing Film bashing is ok with certain fanboys, as long as its not MOS.
