Court of Owls would be good. Would you involve the entire Bat Family like in the comics?

Court of Owls was ****ing amazing.

I didn't get into comics until late 2011/early 2012 basically. 3 things got me into it.

1. New 52 which is a good jumping point for people like me who have no idea where to begin reading a hero who has like 500 comics.

2. Arkham City was released.

3. IGN's reviews of Batman.

I decided to pick up Batman and stayed on it still. Snyder/Capullo are just amazing. Court of Owls, Death of the Family, and Zero Year are all great. I hear there contracts are done at issue 49 but I really hope they stay on for a lot longer and it sounds like they probably will.

I'm in the process of reading Court of Owls - only about 10 pages in though. So far so good.

So Tao is locked in for Mercy Graves or it's just babble?

It's speculation at this point, but would not be surprised if true. We all called her as Mercy when she was announced.

I love Snyder's work. I'd recommend American Vampire and Severed if you haven't read those.

It's also possible she could be playing an original, Mercy-like character. The same basic role and characteristics (Luthor's intimidating driver and bodyguard) but with a different name to compensate for the change in race.

Sorta like how Angela Chen in Superman: The Animated Series was very clearly supposed to be Cat Grant, just Chinese-American.

Have you read Black Mirror? It's Snyder's pre-New 52 Bat story about when Dick was Batman.

It would make for a good two part animated film!

Capullo straight up killed it. I'm not a big fan of the New 52 Batsuit, but he really knew how to make it look amazing. Loved his work!

It will turn out to be a GL and The Flash fan trailer, which he will try to save face by proclaiming Nolan will direct JL.

I was never in negotiations. In fact, I'm done with superheroes all together.

I wanted to continue the Zack Snyder discussion from the other day, but you can't quote comments from the previous parts of the thread (they should think about changing that), and the discussion seems to have moved elsewhere.

You're right TheNextNolan, this thread does move fast as hell.

The new Lex rumors = Good IMO.

Court of Owls = Would make a great solo Bat film.
