Just saw the new image. I'm glad it really turned out to be just tweaks since I liked the MOS suit. Like it better than the first publicity shot for MOS.

Once again, the reactions to this prove to me that there is more positive buzz around BvS than trolls like Grace from Beyond the Trailer would have us all believe. Although there are subtle changes to the Superman costume, it's essentially the same suit as we've gotten before... meaning that we're all rejoicing over something we've already seen. And why is that? Because we're really ****ing excited about this movie, and it's going to be HUGE.

Grave is not a troll. She got fired by Marvel and instead of acting like a proper subjective journalist she keeps drooling over their properties hoping they get her back. I am convinced of this. She is well known for not being a "good" reviewer and for disliking universally beloved films for very unreasonable reasons. She is the only person in the world that can like Transformers 4 and dislike Pacific Rim for the same reasons.

-Side ribbing is broken up into separate lines instead of being cast as one piece with the outer line turning at a sharp angle down towards the "belt"

-Square "buckle" with S

-Waist gold bands are slightly wider and have a sharp/angled edge, rather than coming to a point

-Top of boots are different (not a solid band, but rather two outer lines overlaying boot)

-Neck is slightly curved in between cape attachments rather than being straight across

The empire cover from the first film is a very good comparison given they have the same pose.

- I honestly can't tell for sure about the S. At glance I can see that the S is smaller but when I compare it to the Empire pic the S covers the same areas. It seems more like Cavil is just 1/3 bigger.

- Side ribbing is just new. They've basically done away with that dark blue glossy bands. It seems now the bands are the same shade of blue but glossy.

- The neck I can't tell. It looks identical to the Empire

All in all he looks stockier and less long. Also he looks more like a man in this pic. The old one looks like a young man ready to start his life. This one looks like a dude whose been battle hardened.......like Zod.

Yeah, I knew all that, but even if her primary motivation is to kiss Marvel's ass, I still find most of her statements around DC properties to be trollish.

However, I liked Transformers 4 and disliked Pacific Rim, so...

The only thing i noticed right away is that the belt buckle is square. Besides that I can't find any other noticeable changes

I thought I was the only one who felt this...I found her reviews uneven and felt she always focused too much on being nit-picky and negative.

Well that explains everything.

Love the costume reveal! Cav-El looks like he means business.

found this on another site. Should help. The only thing they missed was the pipping on the forearms.

Yeah, I mean, it's fine if she didn't like MOS, but I love how she uses that to justify baseless generalizations. If she was your only source of information on MOS and BvS, you'd think that 1. MOS was a massive financial disappointment, 2. no one liked it, 3. Warner Brothers has no plan and is just making a half-assed attempt at copying Marvel, and 4. BvS will be a bomb.

The hair really makes quite a bit of difference to me. It really compliments Cavill's features better.

Side by side like that, I think I prefer the MOS aesthetics. Not that the new suit is horrible. I just like the lines better on the old suit, and I don't like the belt at all on the new suit. I like the new boots and forearms, though, so it's all good.

I'm still wondering why they're so adamant on styling his hair. Both as Clark and Supes. The guy has the curly locks straight out the books and they're just plain ignoring it!

Wow, looking at that comparison... maybe it's just because the angle is different, but BvS Cavill looks like he could kick the crap out of MOS Cavill. Wow!

I didn't think it was possible for Henry to look even MORE like Superman, but... I was wrong.

If you work with naturally curly hair, you'd understand more why they do that.

No Problem. He does look more chiseled. And his forearms are bigger.

Seeing them side by side, yes he's buffer now. Did Snyder think he wasnt buff enough in MoS?

I love that new image. This Superman looks a lot more mature than in MOS.
