New Opm Demo Disc............

I JUST GOT MY NEW OFFICIAL PLAYSTATION MAGAZINE , AND IT HAS A SHORT PLAYABLE DEMO OF TRUE CRIME: SOLA . UNFORTUNATELY IT ONLY HAS A 1 MINUTE DRIVING DEMO, BUT THIS GAME LOOKS VERY PROMISING. I CAN'T WAIT TO GET MY HANDS ON MY COPY OF THE XBOX VERSION NEXT MONTH.

IT LOOKS LIKE AN IN-GAME MISSION TIMER, BUT IT ONLY LASTS 1 MINUTE. REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU DO, THE CLOCK TICKS DOWN, AND THEN IT SWITCHES TO A GUNFIGHT SCENARIO DEMO.

RAP...........I HOPE THE XBOX VERSION ALLOWS MUSIC IMPORTING.
IT ALSO HAS SOME CHEESY SOUNDING DIALOGUE FROM THE MAIN CHARACTER, LIKE HE'S TRYING TO BE A WILL SMITH CHARACTER OR SOMETHING. THAT'S OK THOUGH, AS LONG AS THE GAMEPLAY IS SOLID, AND I GET TO RUN AMOK OVER 240 SQ. MILES OF L.A.

Still sound promising...I am hoping they add some more music other then Rap...or like you said...import music is allowed. Cheesy Voice overs aren't always so bad. How was the control and and such? was the game solid or did you detect slowdown?

CONTROL REMINDED ME OF THE GETAWAY , BUT IT WAS HARD TO JUDGE FROM A 1 MIN. DEMO. SLOWDOWN/ POOR FRAMERATE ARE GIVENS WITH PS2 TITLES THAT HAVE SUCH LARGE LEVELS. THAT'S WHY I SAID I WAS GETTING THE XBOX VERSION........... OF COURSE IT WOULD'VE BEEN BETTER AS AN XBOX EXCLUSIVE.

The Xbox version isn't just a PS2 game smashed into a two-day Xbox codeing crunch. They're actually giving it a lot of careful attention (like activision usually does) like HDTV support, custom soundtracks and enhanced graphics.

Like the official ps2 magazine well there be a demo for an Xbox magazine cause that totaly seems unfair the ps2 got GTA and know they get the demo first as well. Any help would be appreciated.

It was a pretty fun game

I loved going full speed down the highway then slowing everything down when I'm inches away from the back of another car, shoot the car in the gas tank, and fly right underneath it just as time speeds back up.

I'm ashamed.
