I don’t think Gunn has the same hang ups. He’s not precious about Reeves universe like some people in here, and he undoubtedly wants his own version of Batman. Not doing any solo movies cuts the potential in half. He would’ve never announced one if he didn’t want to make it.

That’s not why I think he was hired. I’m saying that they will only announce he’s out either with Gunn announcing he’s writing or with Gunn announcing script completion. I also think Gunn will direct.

He’s same as age as Miller’s Batman in The Dark Knight Returns, he would be a cool option. Unfortunately I don’t see them going that old for DCU, even if I think they may replace Bruce with Dick eventually
