Made a map of the street closures this weekend in Chicago. It's a big area but not totally locked down. Limiting parking all weekend probably for production to set up, and a few full closures from Sunday evening into early Monday morning. Any ideas what they're shooting?

Maybe we'll get another tease from Reeves on the 17th. The first Batman reveal was on Valentines Day, in red. If he's referencing The Long Halloween chapters, the next holiday in the series is St Patricks with a cover in Green. Seems like something he'd do, more than just a coincidence. But...

Just a thought about this film being a mystery / detective story. More than most superhero movies we probably got to be especially careful about spoilers. I know a lot of us are here for the spy shots and glimpses of production, peek at locations, costumes, vehicles, etc - all the speculation...

Crop from an image above. At first I thought it was one of the skullface thugs from the park but he's on Batman's bike. Must still be rehearsals and don't want to risk damaging the batsuit if he were to, uh, skid out.

Wouldn't get hopes up for the batmobile just because the street's shutting down, more likely they're clearing out traffic to film at the cemetery without public interference. Though I suspect we'll get plenty of spy photos. edit. guy on reddit has some photos of them setting up.

Small detail but the materials of his chest piece aren't rubber or metal like most other armored batsuits, but covered in a thin layer of fabric. You can kind make out the threads and texture in this shot at 100%.

Two that I really like. After Nolan's black 'armored' versions, Snyder's gray and black rugged textures, and all the black rubber of the 90s, I'd like to see a lean and simple suit, at least to start. The black/navy/gold palate of that first image looks great, could feel very new on film.

Anyone know if Weta is working with Reeves again on this film? I would LOVE if they built Gotham the same way they did Los Angeles in Blade Runner 2049. Enormous miniatures created a beautiful surreal city. Reminds me a lot of the animated series. Found this great production video from 2049 if...

Any word on upcoming filming schedules or public locations? Keep checking back for set-photos but nothing since the first day. Is production fully underway now?

Wouldn't be surprised if the rumors are mixed up and Serkis is playing Penguin and Collin Farrell is playing Two Face

^ He's solid and been getting bigger roles lately, lead role in a Clint Eastwood film this year. And he literally wants to play Penguin, made a 'audition tape' a year ago. It's decent. He's trying a little too hard in the clip imo, but he's got real potential. I'd be 100% ok if it went his way.
