I have this little theory that if Disney is fixing the marketing to make it better, do you think that’s because they actually realize they have a good product in their hands? Like they’ve seen the movie and think it’s good and deserves actual good marketing? And the fox team just doesn’t know...

Well... in this franchise he can change his appearance but also during this scene he obviously is wearing a mutant collar, thus suppressing his x gene, thus calling for a hulk-like transformation back into his natural form when he breaks free from the collar .. ..

This has got to be true... the way that Simon has talked about the transformation went from "absorbing a solar flare that "unlocks" the Phoenix" to "a cosmic entity that takes control of Jean".. I mean I'm not complaining; it's more comic accurate and could well mean that he actually listened to...
