Indeed. Anything high quality that's put to film is part of the conversation. Performances, cultural impact, set design and soundtrack don't all of a sudden become irrelevant just because the story comes from a comic book.

Adapting the chocolate palace from the book was a great idea. Having squirrels instead of geese and the elevator actually being glass were logical and faithful points of difference. The nostalgic sense of wonder from the original is untouchable, though. Gene Wilder nailed it.

I’ll be keeping an eye on Earth One Volume 3. The first two volumes featured The Penguin and The Riddler with an early years Batman who made mistakes. Catwoman is up next. I also like the idea of using Zero Year influences to give things a modern revamp, rather than opting for Year One again...

It holds up very well and has a fair share of iconic moments. The next two films will satisfy fans for the next couple of years before questions really start getting asked about the future. I think he could keep going. But if the movies continue with a different lead actor I could see Cruise...

Agreed. Love the original and the sequel is entertaining enough. But anything after that has been a dumpster fire. There’s no reason why this won’t be the same.

I’m unsure about how this show will end up, but I actually don’t mind these character designs. It would do Superman wonders if they had a solid animated and live action series going at the same time. Here’s hoping they can make it work.

I’d wait, too. There will be a lot more figures than just this one.

I haven’t played the games before, but based on the rave reviews and the launch of this collection I picked it up the other day. I’ll keep you posted as to my thoughts.
