I remember Batman Begins (probably my favorite Batman movie) being pretty invisible pop culturally. The only thing of note was that MTV Awards parody skit. On the other hand, The Batman has been a source of steady mainstream online conversation and fascination.
Batman Begins is the definitive origin imo. Can't get any early Batman than that. I love that he immediately goes to the top, with a long-term plan to target the source of what creates the conditions for street crime. Beating up teenage gangmembers is low hanging fruit.
Playing it on Gamepass and loving it. On chapter four right now, and if the rest of the game is this endearing I'll buy it. I hope word of mouth spreads, it's why I gave it a chance.
Update Edit: Yeah, this game was marvelous (sorry). Definitely deserves a purchase.
