This forum is a mess. There's countless threads clogging up the page made by the same person and most of them are trivial and unnecessary. All of them should be condensed into one.

A homophonic slur directed at a gay man is in no way just “vaguely sh***y”. And people genuinely don't use that type of language on a one off basis.

Whether you think people can change or not (and i’m not saying they can’t), we know for a fact that many will have a problem with his casting. Do we really want the X-Mens debut in the MCU to be caught in controversy?

I really don't understand why Cranston keeps being brought up for Xavier? To be fair though ive never really been a fan, especially with his past homophobic comments being revealed. Not really an ideal fit for a brand that represents fighting for equality.

Glad to see Nightcrawler joining, Sunspot is a bit random though as he's predominantly known as a New Mutant. Was hoping for Iceman and his sexuality would be touched on. I do agree with the upset about the lack of a new female member, was hoping Kitty would finally debut and join the team...

Dazzler was created as a solo character so it makes much more sense for her to get a solo movie rather than Psylocke who was created as a supporting character.

How great would it be if we build up to a roster like this?

My favourite arc from Ultimate X-Men had Mojo reimagined as a tv mogul creating a popular tv show of people hunting mutants. Arcade was revamped as a mutant hunter. Its slightly based on Stephen King’s Running Man but could be an interesting spin on mutants introduction in the MCU.

I’m hoping the MCU chooses a lineup thats closer to the source material. The 05 or ANAD. I would settle for the animated series cast if they established that other x-men came before them. A mixture of 05 and ANAD is a good idea like the Ultimate comics did but adding Jubilee just makes no sense.
