JLU also has one of my favourite portrayals of Superman outside of comics despite DCAU Superman not normally suffering from an over-abundance of personality. Love that he actually gets to be kind of difficult and stubborn and flawed, the stuff with Captain Marvel is great.

I don’t actually. JL is a blast but it has some really, really weak and bland runs of episodes. Almost none of which I actively dislike or don’t enjoy watching but it takes awhile to find itself.

See, I've got my issues with Timm too but most of what's good in the show stems from it being the most Bruce Timm show to ever Bruce Timm. The really cold take on Bruce, the dementedly horny Harley Quinn episode... great stuff.

Obviously Caped Crusader doesn't match the heights of BTAS and likely never will but frankly most of its episodes are about the average quality of BTAS at least. BTAS is one of my favourite shows ever but it's not even the best written DCAU show.

I haven't yet, I'll probably enjoy it apart from Leto discomfort. It's a type of movie I'm enormously inclined to be charitable to.

The seven dollars this movie made were exclusively because of NIN. That was the lone source of interest I ever heard anyone express for this movie.

Clayface, Harley Quinn, Gentleman Ghost and Firebug were all banger episodes. Not too shabby a showing at all.

It's really good, it just has some rough and bland patches. The kind of show that could obviously grow into something special given a couple seasons - something that used to feel pretty standard issue but now with release schedules, quick cancellations, etc. series don't get to pull off very often.

Demolition Man is the Klute of Part II.

Jessica Jones is even harder to bring into the Disney fold than Daredevil. I haven't seen Born Again so I don't have any opinion on it, but there's no version of a D+ Jessica Jones show that does any of the things that made JJ special.

Yeah, I don’t have much interest in watching Born Again but I don’t think I felt a moment of investment in Foggy’s continued survival in the Netflix show.

Golden Age is a really fun story, good call.
