Gosh, I love how all these set photos feel so unapologetically Gotham City. It’s not “Nolan’s Gotham” or “Burton’s Gotham,” (not that those are bad things) but it really does feel like the instantly recognizable Gotham from the 70’s-90’s comic books.

I definitely would have to disagree about O’Neil/Adams not being dark or stylized, although yeah, not 100% gritty (more pulpy). That being said, I’m not talking about the overall vibe of the run as much as I mean in general Neal Adams’ art, which focuses a lot on a shadow-y/dark atmosphere and a...

Am I the only one who sees O’Neil/Adams influence with those Batmobile pictures? The entire “dark/foggy/shadow-y” atmosphere feels right out of their run and even that Batmobile basically looks like their version, except black with added BTAS influence.

Pitch me a scene you'd like to see in this solo.

If Pattinson’s Batman isn’t a killer, and I’d prefer if he isn’t, then I’d like to see a scene of him having to go out of his way to save his enemies in the middle of combat. Or just something like this:

I’m so impressed by the presence of the ears on the Batcycle. Great design; I’m excited to see the Batmobile but I can wait.

Fair enough, but there are different levels of cruelty. Life-valuing Batman isn’t the type to quip about someone knowing he’s about to die.

I could’ve bought that if Batman hadn’t turned to Ra’s and said “I won’t kill you, but I don’t have to save you” before he booked. There was no reason to say that other than general cruelty, and it shows he doesn’t care about condemning Ra’s to death. And I think there were a lot of ways to...

If the gun theory is true, I’m curious if that means Batman’s symbol will be broken in the climax or he’ll get rid of it at some point to replace it with the traditional eared bat-symbol.

Yeah, I don’t entirely buy it. I found it interesting at least since The Batman’s co-script writer liked a tweet with those covers shortly after the reveal.

There’s a theory that, given these Dark Victory covers and the use of red lighting in Batman’s reveal, Reeves plans to have similar reveals for the other characters.

I agree. It’s kind of sad when Joker has two Oscars while Batman has none. Here’s hoping Battinson will help us out.

Batman is a fictional character. And the Daredevil tv show exists and features a faithful adaptation of Batman’s comic book moral code, watch it.

Ra’s training Batman has nothing to do with his ability to escape a runaway train. but again, these are all huge reaches for me. We’re not arguing “did Batman ever unjustifiably put his enemies in danger” or “did Batman ever murder his enemies?”, it’s about whether Batman intentionally killed...

I don’t see how Ra’s was possibly capable of escaping from that situation. But anyways, to be blunt: Batman willingly risked their lives, he knew death was an option, and they died. So yes, he killed them. If I set a building on fire, and the people didn’t escape, then I can’t say “I didn’t kill...
