Makes zero sense. It seems like this is the sort of thing gun enthusiasts would approve of.

I think the conspiracy theorists among them see this as some way to covertly disable their ability to use a gun in case when the corrupt evil communist facist marxist government comes knocking and tries to take away their rights.

But that's just my completely unbiased opinion based on things I didn't really make up but greatly distorted out of reality to justify my side of the argument. :woot:

These people are insane. I just posted a story in the stupid people thread about 2 business' that had planned on selling these weapons as an OPTION for their customers voluntarily and they both backed out because they are receiving death threats and people are saying they are going to burn down their store.

These gun loving idiots need to be injected with some common sense

It absolute is. These people are just nuts and they are not really gun enthusiasts if you ask me. A true gun enthusiast would want to own that gun.

They are the extremists. Every group has them and in this particular case, they make an already controversial group look even worse just by association.

So, the gun nuts get to keep their guns but they can't be fired by anyone but themselves. And they are upset by this?

Logic is not their strong point is it? Sheesh!

Why would anyone get made about having this option? That's exactly what it is...an option. If you don't want it don't buy it. Why keep it off the market entirely?

If it all goes down and you need to defend yourself how can you if your friend or partner who is the owner of guns made to lock themselves are dead or detained for unlawful reasons? If it does come down to an extreme Police State. Or if you're being attacked at home, or a movie theater or who knows where else. Your out of a chance, cause you're controlled.

Thats why people see it being a curropt option. It leaves people completley defenseless.

Blurting out people as Psychopaths for defending there freedoms is an extreme answer used by the curropt or people who don't understand the reasoning behind it.

A lot is falling on deaf ears because people are wising up to all this BS and sticking to there Amendment rights.

People in the states are soo grossly misinformed by lies, BS and fear.

And look how well Japan does with absolutely no guns legal at all. Or Australia. I can play the finger point game too and make wild claims that don't necessarily translate.

I believe the Swiss also have nationalized healthcare. And pay for their student's to go to college. The horror. :wow:

I don't blurt out Conspiracy or calling people defending there rights crazy.
What kind of people do that Im sure you can tell me.

Lets keep this as a conversation without swaying off topic, the name calling, silencing people with bans, or the complete locking of a thread.

But im certain more and more people who do see through all that ^ will stop coming to places like this and you can all be alone to yourselves.

But the thing is that, this feature is optional. It's not like a mandate from the creator.

People are knee-jerking to hypothetical slippery slope that may not even happen. That's the problem. And the death threats which doesn't make the community look good.

From a business POV smart guns are a mixed bag.

The consumer fear is that it might turn into the Xbox One.

Those of you who use the term "gun nuts" a lot, are you talking about just the extremists or anyone who believes in the second amendment?

I didn't realize it needed to be defined. There are those like myself that believe we should have the right to own guns for protection and then there are those, like in this article, who ignorantly threaten others.

Its hard to believe anything in the US news.

Who really knows if there actual death threats or extreme ways to get guns like these common on the market or ultimately your only choice for a gun in the US.

Doing that is going to bring in more crime with an underground gun market.
Furthering arrests over populating prisons. And arresting people who believe in there rights.
Thats the America that people want?
    Nope.

And what happens if these particular group of people ARE making death threats? Gun owners or not, it doesn't matter, it's wrong and makes the entire community look stupid.
