Still not sure why this is on Adult Swim. I mean Lois and Clark fan service and the gay love story between the hyperintelligent Gorilla and floating brain.
But both shows ended in 2018 and 2020.The market for YA animated action/adventure series is not very big. CN and Nickelodeon and Disney Channel abandoned those type of shows. Disney+/Hulu probably doesn't want to advertise a competing brand. Max is shifting to more adult focused animation. Paramount is essentially living of Nickelodeon for their younger content. Doesn't really seem to fit with Apple. And Amazon seem more interested in "mature" animation, thus why the picked up Batman. Now, it would fit right in on Netflix, right there with Voltron and She-ra. But they didn't pay up.
It’s my understanding that Cartoon Network isn’t doing anymore new programming except on Adult Swim, so the options were Adult Swim or bust?Still not sure why this is on Adult Swim. I mean Lois and Clark fan service and the gay love story between the hyperintelligent Gorilla and floating brain.
Yes, and they are still on Netflix.
This was fantastic. Loved ALLLLLL the Black Mercy stuff.
The pet sun eater!!! Adored that. Even in his fantasy as a Kryptonian, he's still pure Clark. And of course Lois would be a super being in his head.
Steve Lombard coming to the rescue and even giving Kara the hero pep talk? Could not have called that lol.
Haaaaate the new suit, though! Like conceptually, fine, I get him embracing his Kryptonian side. but other suit was already perfection.
I can't believe it's already finale time.![]()
Shoulder pads!?! SHOULDER PADS!?! What is this? The 80s?

Absolutely cackled at his pep talk starting with "that guy gets beat up all the time."This was fantastic. Loved ALLLLLL the Black Mercy stuff.

The van reveal killed me.
Kinda felt a little like they stole Krieger's van from Archer, but it was a great gag to steal, so I'll allow it.The wolf howling sound effects.![]()
All caught up on the season and Michael Emerson might have topped Corey Burton as far as Brainiac goes.
No one does cold, creepy and intellectual like Emerson.
I said what I said.You. Shut. Your. Mouth!
But seriously, there are certain voices that are defining for their characters, voices like Konroy (Batman), Hamill (Joker), K.David (Goliath), Clancy Brown (Lex) and Tim Daley (Superman)....for me at least. Corey Burton as Brainy is at the VERY TOP of that prestigious list and I ain't even kidding. What Burton did for Brainiac made me get up, notice and appreciate the art of voice acting.
Nothing wrong with Burton. But Emerson's voice is so perfect, mixed with the depth of the writing. In general the writing on this show is much better then STAS imo. It's a show that hones in on the importance of Clark, while giving tender love and care to the supporting cast. Lois, Jimmy, and Kara have been beautifully refreshed in my mind.You. Shut. Your. Mouth!
