Superman “My Adventures with Superman” in the works at Adult Swim & Max

Coming to the end of a season not having to worry about renewal. Good feeling.

I knew they wouldn't be able to resist the "action set to the opening theme" trope. Glad they did it

And poor Syderbros will be confused on why Clark didn't snap his cousin's neck.

Interesting that it actually was Brainiac that destroyed Krypton. And the people they were at war with was about to make peace with Krypton.

That final fight with Kara and Brainiac was great, very emotional. And of course, open to return.

So happy we got Kara met the Kents, It was great. More of that in season 3. A very good ending they did when they did not expect a season 3. I loved it.

Well that really felt like a series finale. I hope the real series finale, whenever that may be (hopefully a long time from now!), manages to be that satisfying.

Kara meeting the Kents got me all emotional. While I still don't care for Clark's new suit, I LOVE hers. :hrt:

Brainiac's backstory is quite an interesting departure here. I maintain he feels more like a Brainiac/Eradicator hybrid to me. Really curious who Krypton was at war with and making a peace treaty with. Daxam? Thanagar? Would love to see whoever it was come back into play.

Curious how Lex seems to have escaped all consequences while Waller takes the fall here.

What a great season of Superman TV. And so begins the long, torturous wait for S3. At least S&L will be back in a few months.

It was an alright finale, I can't lie though this show has the most boring uninspired villains I've ever seen.
I feel like the show gets everything right but the villains.

Overall I enjoyed it.

Kara still has a much better suit than Clark.

Brainiac was a great villain for the season though i wish we'd gotten more Krypton flashbacks.

I hope after this season we can start moving away from the boring blocky robot/machine designs.

Will be interesting to see what they do with Kara in s3 because she's able to bring a lot of conflict to the show due to her past. It's very Xena inspired.

There are a whole lot of stages of "in production". See the wait between some of the Harley Quinn seasons. I believe 2 and 3.

Honestly I didn't love the last episode. It felt off to me that the Kents made no appearance as Brainiac searched Clarks memories, and it just felt like he was way too easily manipulated for my tastes. Maybe would have played out better if Brainiac hadnt stood there taunting him. Overall I've just not been a fan of the conflict/angst they've introduced between Clark/Lois and Clark/Jimmy to get there either. It has all felt a bit forced to me.

I still highly rate the show, but I defo preferred S1.

Hoping tonight's episode will at least be a satisfying reunion/pay off.
Ignore past me.

It was 100% worth the pay off. The last two episodes were so freaking beautiful. I laughed hysterically with joy. I happy clapped. And then I bawled my eyes out.

More please! 😁

No I know we’re getting S3, it’s just gonna be a long wait, because they were only renewed a couple weeks ago. :weeping:

Officially announced. Often times, with animation, the decision has been made long before its announced. Which is why Lower Decks was not that much of a surprise to me, as McMahan had been pretty much sounding the alarm since Season 3. Harley Quinn and Young Justice I think are the only examples of true renewals, as no work had been done on the new stuff, that I can think of. Given how those involved in this show have been talking, I'm thinking that the decision was made a while ago.

felt like the same kind of "finale' that Harley s2 had. If we don't get renewed, we tied up the story. But there is so much more ground to cover and I can't wait to see them do so. :super:

Some just amazing art direction.

The 2nd season finale was great seeing Clark and Kara teaming up as they wrapped up the Brainiac storyline and setting up for the 3rd season.

Superboy’s a little bit surprising considering this Superman is only like 22 years old.

Poor Alex, lost his hair already.

Based on his look, I'm guessing this Superboy is going to be their kid from the future as opposed to a proper contemporary situation.

I wonder. We have Steel. The villain to the left of Lex in the new OP could be the actual Metallo or Hank Henshaw, who probably suffered a bit of an injury when Brainiac blew up his jet. And then to the right, maybe the Eradicator?

Are they at least doing a timejump because....this feels REALLY fast

I just assumed Connor, no?
My guess, which I want to note isn't based on anything more substantial than "he looks like you shoved Lois and Clark in a blender" is they'll do a bit of a mix of Connor and Jon and he'll come back from the future for a bit. Maybe a Legion episode and that's what that group with the Kryptonian on the bottom left is? I dunno, I'm just guessing.
