Many clubs would be happy to pay it.
You were saying…?FA cup games are marginally better than International breaks but doest seem to be many games to get excited about this round. United game was terrible and we got lucky with the offside at the end to nick it. Not much magic of the cup at the moment.
What the - just saw Plymouth knocked Liverpool out!!
It was still a decent team looking at the team sheet. What a day of legend for Plymouth. Beating a squad team from the undoubted best team in the country (possibly Europe) this season. I’d love to see what the atmosphere was like there. This is why I love the FA Cup. No matter how many people try to put it down, it will always have a special place in my heart, I love the fact that it doesn't matter how many leagues & positions apart teams are, shocks like this are what make it great.
I know Liverpool fielded a second team, but still.

The FA cup owe you a big cheque for your contribution to the best advert for it in that round. My reverse psychology worked I see
Magic of the cup, never doubted it.Didnt really see Plymouth of all teams being able to turn Liverpool over, even if they didnt have all the big guns but there you go, the cup can still do that. No trebles or quads this year which is good.
Looking at the draw it looks like another good chance for a Newcastle, Villa or Bournemouth to make the final. City and United will be close to it potentially but if they draw each other in an earlier round or go out then it is nice and open for the rest. The FA cup owe you a big cheque for your contribution to the best advert for it in that round.
Birmingham Newcastle was a good tie too even though the PL team prevailed.
Good point. Just realised Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs are all out, so it could really open up if a couple of the big sides remaining are drawn against each other. Brighton aren't the most straightforward, but they're out of form, and I'm happy to be at home at least.Looking at the draw it looks like another good chance for a Newcastle, Villa or Bournemouth to make the final. Glad you're back here. Might as well enjoy while Liverpool are odds on to win the title and with a fair shot at the CL!Added time equaliser for Everton this evening in a 2-2 draw for Liverpool.
Not the worst result for us and we hold a 7 point gap between us and Arsenal in 2nd place.

Everton 2-2 Liverpool: Everton rescue dramatic draw as Merseyside derby ends in chaos

Yeah I had that game in the background, only looking when the goals went in really. l love that even in 2025 it's not just complete steamroller domination from the PL.Great result for Madrid and some real work for City to do to get through now, will be tough to go to Madrid and turn this over with their defense this season not looking all that sound.
Didnt watch the game only the highlights as the Exeter v Forest game turned out to be an excellent cup game as well that went all the way to Pens with Forest eventually coming out on top. Magic of the cup though, said it all along.![]()
