The question I have is, is it still "safe" if it gets hit by something big? Maybe not Chernobyl bad, but would there still be widespread contamination?

I mean, nuclear plants are fairly solid. It would take a lot of concentrated fire to do catastrophic damage. There is a reason they are hiding in it.

And it seems Ukraine has started a full on offensive to retake Khershon. Should be interesting to see how it plays out.

Hopefully that goes well. Will be a blow to Russian morale to lose territories that it’s had a while. I really want Ukraine to get Crimea back.

There was a great image of Russian vacationers and colonists getting the **** out of Crimea once Ukraine started hitting stuff in Crimea.

End of an era.

He lived long enough to see Russia turn into a tyrannical empire all over again.

Kinda shocking that Putin is now the only person alive who has served as the leader of Russia (well, Medvedev too, but we all know who was really in charge...).

We've dealt with foreign and domestic terrorists for 20+ years, and we lose thousands of Americans every year to gun violence. And we've lost 1 million to covid in only 2 years.
