I need the Warriorsâ front office to do my family budgeting and taxes, because they get numerous big names and somehow afford them.
Happy Easter, Guest!
Looks like Reaves will be back soon. And the Lakers are cooking lately!Man, the difference between the five and number two spot in the NBA west is 1.5 games. The Lakers are only one game out of the two seed. That just seems crazy, but the Lakers have a very, very tough schedule the rest of the year. Theyâre playing really well, but if they lose Austin Reaves, thatâs a huge loss.
The final score was eerily similar to the last game. Glad to hear about Reaves. I don't know what Reddick has for breakfast, but he shouldn't change anything. The injury bug is rather bothersome. Hachimura was really playing good ball and he looks like he may be out for awhile. Then Reaves. Then Goodwin was really doing a nice job and bunged up his ankle. It's starting to get thin, but they're still winning......they've got some tough games coming up against the Knicks, Celts, Bucks (2), and Nuggets (2). Their remaining schedule looks like it has to be one of the tougher ones in the league, but they're playing really well so who knows?Looks like Reaves will be back soon. It makes me wonder how the Westbrook-AD-LeBron Lakers wouldâve played under Reddick. Could he have somehow gotten past the lack of outside shot on that team the way he has patched the absent big man on this one?
I feel pretty confident so long as Hachimura can be available in the playoffs. Iâm also floored by what weâve seen since Luka came. I never wouldâve thought that trading away AD for Luka would actually make the Lakers better on defense, but as of a couple of days ago, (not sure about the last two games) the Lakers actually led the league in defensive efficiency over the past 15 games. And the Lakers were winning even with Luka not shooting the ball well. The final score was eerily similar to the last game. Glad to hear about Reaves. Reddick has them playing D and I've been surprised by Doncic's effort on that end. He's been playing much better defense than I'd heard he did when he got here. He isn't quite where I'd like to see him, but looks like he might be coming around. The effort is certainly there and he looks like he's trying to show people that Dallas Eff'ed up.
Thanks to some losses in the West, the Lakers have moved up to the #2 slot. I can't imagine they'll stay there, but I never saw that coming this late in the season.
One other thing I meant to add...... Knecht seemed WAY out of sorts ofter the failed trade, but seemed to get his head back in the game. He's going to be a huge part of what they do if Hachimura is out for an extended period of time. The playing time he gets now should really help the Lakers later in the season when (hopefully) Rui returns. He looked really sharp against the Clips. When that guy is on, he's a lights out shooter and with Bron and Luka on the floor, he's gonna get a lot of open looks.I feel pretty confident so long as Hachimura can be available in the playoffs. As odd as it is to say given the amazing results, I still donât know that weâve seen their best yet.

Hey......it's the Clippers.SGA is a beast. And his game is so smooth.
Howâs that Paul George trade looking now, Clippers? And to think that he was kind of the afterthought in that trade, with all of the picks taking the center stage.

Yeah. They are playing with a lot of effort and the defense has looked really good (including Doncic). Luka has taken a lot of pressure off LBJ and he seems much fresher and is playing better D himself. He's getting a lot of easier minutes on offense.i'm not a Lakers fan, but i'm actually really enjoying watching them play right now.
also Giannis hits 20k this year, Durant hits 30k, and Lebron hits 50k. wild
