🏈 NFL - Game On

So---a couple of things come to mind;

McCarthy parting with dallas.
Vikings getting blown out
Texans surprising the chargers

Divisional should be fun
The Vikings picked the wrong time of the year to start slumping. They haven't looked quite right for awhile now. The NFL is funny. A team can look like world beaters one week and look like crap the next. The Rams appear to be peaking (and relatively healthy) at the right time, but who knows.....

Losing Witherspoon to a hammy doesn't bode well for next week and they just don't know about Higbee (TE).

Has anyone considered what a S***show it would be if the Cowboys got Sanders as HC? :lmao:

Maybe it's just me, but isn't there a possibility that two of the biggest egos on the planet could collide and not work out in the long term? :funny:

I mean Jerry Jones put "himself" on the cover of the Cowboys magazine a few years back......and this, I'm sure, excited a lot of Cowboys fans. LOL.

Please, PLEASE hire coach Prime.

That would be a bomb the entire world would be glad to see go off :bomb:

Darnold has a better team, but, yeah, as much as I go against the tide on Herbert, he looked really bad. I "think" when he gets better options, he'll be Just(in) fine.
Herbert stunk up that game for sure, but he is a classic example of the “great player with no one around him” conversation on the previous page.
I really think that he has everything needed to be the best QB in the league. Aside from O Line, and OC

i am too lazy to look up brackets, but i really want a lions/ravens superbowl.

my boss is going to the bills/ravens game this weekend. i'm kinda jealous but he has Buffalo season tickets eh

Oh......too much work getting in the way?

Rams-Beagles
Commanders-Lions
Texans-Chefs
and the one you know.

Like your new Avy. She had me laughing through the whole movie.

Well, good thing they play at Detroit tomorrow, because temps are about to plummet.

I gotta get my Lions donuts tomorrow morning...

LOL. I had no idea they had Lions donuts and looked it up. :funny: That's awesome (even though I don't like donuts). I'm glad for Lions fans. They've been through a lot with their team and deserve a break. :like:

Not sure what you found, but its a special donut from a local shop.

Well deserved. Even when they were blowing teams out by 40, they were consistently the most fun team to watch all year. Hope they win it all. Would be a great story all around.

2025 NFL Playoff Second Round Predictions

Chiefs
It's a long shot that the Texans contain Kelce, the thundering crowd in Arrowhead Stadium creates issues for the Texans, and Mahomes can still execute more explosive plays than Stroud even though it's realistic for the Texans to succeed in getting pressure on Mahomes.

Lions
The Commanders have a terrible rushing defense, while the Lions' rushing offense is dynamite, so the Lions will most likely have an excellent night running the football in the Motor City. The Lions' defense can put pressure on Daniels, forcing him to make critical mistakes, and Goff will have an easy day throwing the football because of great blocking.
One main reason the Commanders won't win this game is that they can't contain the Lions' rushing attack, and it's very unlikely they'll be able to hold the Lions to mostly field goals.

Ravens
A high-scoring competitive thriller that the Ravens win by making less critical mistakes than the Bills, the Ravens make the most of drives by scoring touchdowns mostly not field goals, also the Ravens have a successful day for running the football using Henry which takes the pressure off of Jackson, and Jackson succeeds as a game manager.
Even if Henry is mostly contained from not having the explosive plays, the Ravens have a realistic chance of winning the game if they can get pressure on Allen, keep him contained in the pocket, and Jackson succeeds as a game manager.

Eagles
While the Rams can compete with the Eagles to keep it a close game, it's more likely that the Eagles will execute more explosive plays because Brown isn't contained. Barkley rushes for over 100 yards, and he can succeed at gaining valuable yards after short-range passing plays. Also, Hurts is a dual threat so he'll be able to avoid the sacks even though the Rams have a realistic chance of getting pressure on Hurts.

Most likely vast people are going to be jumping on the Lions Fans Bandwagon this season since they are very likely to reach the Super Bowl finally which all past Lions teams have never done.

People can bring up the Lions won NFL Championships, however, that isn't the same thing as the Super Bowl.

Feeling good about telling my bro I had a good feeling about the Commanders with the Lions D being shredded.

All time Jared Goof performance. Lions defense was always gonna suck like that because of the injuries, but him playing that didn't even give them a chance.

What a shame after the year they've had.

The Commanders are blowing my mind this season.

Jayden could make history and be the first rookie QB to make a Super Bowl appearance.

I'm actually rooting for a Ravens/Commanders superbowl.

Pulling for the Bills at this point. Was rooting for the Lions, but with them down I favor the Bills of my remaining options.
