To me,
Julianne Moore>>>>Mehryl Streep. Always.
So this was a lifetime movie done via the pov of an auteur. This was fun, dark, comedic in moments where I think it wasn't suppose to be. The film carries the ham type plot on its sleeves and it was great. Portman goes toe to toe with Moore, but that Charles Melton fellow is a revelation, he can act his ass off. He definitely should get an oscar nom. Also, for those of us who grew up in the 90s, this story which is loosely based on was all the fuzz. Crazy to say outloud, but this story at least in my mind was the original student/teacher scandal that I can remember getting so much coverage. 90s had this case, OJ, 2pac murder back to back. One of the best films of the year for me.
