US won the 4x400m relay in an Olympic record time with Botswana getting the silver and GB the bronze.

The US win the women’s 4x400m by absolutely miles, only a 1/10th of a second outside of the world record from 1988. McLaughlin ran the fastest leg of anyone, she will get 400m gold when she switches. GB just about held off Ireland for bronze after Femke Bol overtook them both for silver. 5 medals in 5 relay events, very happy with that.

The last 3 times France have got a foul they missed their first free throw. Feels like they rush that first one as they scored the second each time after slowing down. If they’d got these it would be really close now and a 1 score gap.
