FOCUS: Forever and Always FAMILY
As I look around this forum, I see that we have begun what I hope Fox does not, and that is lose focus of what the Fantastic Four are all about. As a new fan to this COMIC, the thing that I connected with first and foremost was the familial aspects of the writing from the very beginning issues to the present. What sets this superhero team apart from all other superhero teams is that their strongest force is relationship. That was touched on in the first movie, but if not embedded in this franchise NOW, I feel that what makes the Fantastic Four, Fantastic will be lost. There are so many relationships that have been strengthened in its 40 year run. Not only relationships with the 4 themselves, but relationships with people that were once enemies and now are major allies. BUT I want to Focus on the Family part of this franchise.
What differentiates them from other comic book superheroes?
What brings in a wide demographic?
What can bring humor and drama into a 4 minute scene and make it special?
What can give their action in this movie, meaning?
Where should the Focus truly be?
To me the Focus should be family? And that is what this thread is all about

- Reed and Sue (husband and wife)
- Ben and Reed (lifelong friends)
- Sue and Johnny (brother and sister)\
- Sue and Ben (to me one of the sweetest relationships in comicdom)
- Ben and Johnny (comrades and combatants)
