R.I.P. Heath Ledger.

Thank you for giving me my favorite villainous performance of all time.

I was on my way to a play rehearsal, when I got there my friend said Heath Ledger was dead. At first I thought he was pulling a prank on me because I was really hyping The Joker, but then he showed me the news on a computer, and I just had this weightful saddness that I carried with me for about 2 or 3 days.

I'll post this here. This was always my favorite Heath Ledger tribute video.

RIP HEATH, YOU ARE MISSED

THANKS FOR EVERYTHING :csad:

R.I.P Heath Ledger

Thanks for bringing us an iconic character to the big screen with your great performance.

i gotta say that last scene in brokeback mountain was sad way sadder than everything i`ve ever seen.

I made this in memorandum. His talent is a real loss. RIP

I remember seeing Ledger's picture in the Metro Newspaper, but I wasn't quite sure what to make of it, so when I dug a little more and realized what happened...ya, I was like the rest of you: :wow::csad:

R.I.P. Heath Ledger. You brought to life comic book history's greatest villain.

little something I made in Heath's memory..

Why so impossible to stop missing, even though I never met you?

Heath Ledger embodied a new human life in every film, never took himself too seriously, had great fun with his job, rejected the idea of celebrity, and had a passion for being alive. He gave us an infuriatingly brief body of work, but a peek inside to the minds and souls of the people he played.

Heath, I can't thank you enough for what you did for The Dark Knight and the Batman legacy, as well as cinema at Large. Rest in peace, man.

Matilda, I know your dad loved you. Face front, move forward, and good luck.

I never really paid attention to him before the dark knight. i knew him and his movies but didn't pay attention. i was strolling the net and found out he passed away just and hour ago last year. after i saw the dark knight, i was saddened we lost such a talent. his joker is my favorite movie character now. i've read all the articles about him and how great a person he was. and i've developed a crush on michelle williams. i miss him rip heath

I was on the computer listening to Wendy Williams on the radio (I know) and in the middle of talking, the 'breaking news' music came on and she and Charlemagne announced that Heath Ledger was dead, and what a shame it was because he was a young talented actor. The story at the time of course was brief as they knew it.

wow, a year past by fast.

Guys, stop arguing on who is the best villain... it's all matter of tastes.

Let's keep discussion in piece...

Joker is the best villain, end of story! I don't wanna hear another argument.

When I heard Heath died, I was on the computer, looking up a book, when I heard Heath had died. I knew his movies, but I hadn't really known that that was him. When they said he was set to play the Joker, here were my thoughts: "So there will be a Batman Begins sequel! So that's what my Math teacher meant when he said something about the Dark Knight! Oh no, he was the guy in A Knight's Tale!" A Knight's Tale is actually one of my favorite movies. Right up there with TDK in Heath's best work.

Soulonsale, where did you get that picture of The Joker?
