This happens to often because the British Government PAYS for it. That kid would be offered benefits, if she was 16 she would be offered a flat paid for by the Government.

The 11 year old should be put in foster care someplace far away from cigarettes and alcohol.

The baby should be put up for adoption.

Granted it may be too late for either of them to have a normal life, but at least this might give them both that chance.

Well this is sad but given her upbringing it may not be so much of a surprise. I just hope that the child does not suffer so much from a parent who will be in their teens looking to party and what not while the child may be looking for attention.

This may fall on the shoulders of the Grandmother but what type of person lets an 11 year old go out and get drunk, smoke and do whatever else when she is 11.
