14k Gold Batman Pendant, ever seen?

I recently won this on an ebay auction, and I fully intend to wear it into my grave. I'm just curious if anyone remembers seeing them when they were still being made and sold (maybe they still are, I don't know). But I can't dig up information anywhere on the internet. I've been trying all day. The auctioneer described it as a gift received when the 'original movie' released. I'm guessing that means 1989 - 90.

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for it, I just took a best guess. Anyone got any clue where I could find a little history on this charm? I'm curious and would like to know more about it if I can. It's supposedly solid and not plated.

lol , looks like one of mattels batman figure accessories, i cant remember the name of the figure, it was an odd batman... but he had a plastic green projectile that looked just like that hehe.
