Erzengel's assigned remake movie is... Fatal Attraction!

I would say stop *********ing as much, also stop dating Asians. I've never dated an Asian and see how I turned out. Remember the epitome of social success is dating and catching white women. Like pokemon.

What do you think about the current crop of Hype individuals... the movers, the shakers and the indifferent?
It's hard to say who's a mover or a shaker here because well, SHH is pretty neutered at this point. I stopped in on the Hobbit thread and saw the "hijinks" that went on in there and thought a lot of the posts were funny. Besides I usually hang out in like 3 forums, Community, Sports and Movies and everyone for the most part is agreeable and not looking to rock the boat so to speak. So it's hard for people to step up.

Why do you stick around here?
I'm behind a desk for about 85% of the day. I post on a few messageboards, not just SHH and DKB but on NFL, ESPN, SI, etc., when there's a lull at work. So, to answer the question it's boredom.

What is a goal you still wish to accomplish with your life?
I'd like to have sex in every State. I'm at like 11-12 and worried that I'll never get states like Montana or North Dakota.

Are you ever going to have kids?
Someday.

Someday, I'll welcome Optimus Skywalker into the World.

Where is ATP??
I think she no longer has time or energy to post online. I'll wish her a Happy Birthday at the end of the month.

Why is Spoons so quiet these days?
Too busy bustin' cheeks.

Who have you met off the Hype or LSP in real life? What did you do?
I know most people here won't know who Babs Gordon or Maxwell's Demon is but I met with them a couple of years ago in NJ. They are good people. We had lunch and then went out for coffee. I even talked to Kipobe over the phone. It was like talking to the President.

What is your biggest insecurity in life and what do you try to do to combat it?
I was probably insecure when I was younger, there's nothing I'm really insecure about now. I mean, I pretty much like who I am so there's nothing I would necessarily change about myself except for having more money in my pocket.

Are there any existing members of the Hype who have seen your picture? Who are they so I can contact them?

CC has seen what I looked like only because I "stumbled" upon her photo so we'd be even. Now we are connected.

knowsbleed asks:

How do you feel about Optimus_Prime_'s nudity obsession?

Well as long as he keeps his nudity obsession to himself and he's not my neighbor or he doesn't keep his windows open.

Kane52630 asks:

If you were in charge of selecting Moderators/Admins, who would you choose?
Darthphere, PWN3R, maybe knowsbleed.

Not based on any significant abilities or attributes, just for possible comedic outcomes.

Is knowsbleed your long lost brother?
I wish. I would harvest his organs.

That means I could drink my liver into oblivion.

List the last five songs you listened to.
I don't listen to the radio, it's usually on Sports. So a lot of these songs....because I flip through the Radio or I'm walking through stores and the internet.
Gangham StyleGood TimeWe Found Love
Alone
Ring of Fire

When was the last time you broke the law?
Slurping soup in NJ is apparently illegal and apparently there are some states that sodomy is illegal even between a man and a woman.
Name five people, living or dead, you would want to have dinner with.

Mariano Rivera - I'm a HUGE Rivera and Yankees fan and Rivera is probably my favorite Yankee ever.

Nikola Tesla - Because he's a forgotten genius and doesn't get a lot of the credit he deserves

Sun Tzu - Art of War is a great book, plus you know him being a military genius. (Hopefully with an interpreter)

Elvis Presley - I've always been a Presley fan. Wouldn't eat a peanut butter and banana sandwich though.

Ashley Greene - For uh....her acting ability.

Spider-Aziz asks:

And my extra:
What is your field? Quantity Survey? Highways? Road construction? Buildings? Water pipes? Etc?
I do Land Development and Municipal Engineering.

So if someone comes to me with a lot of land and wants to develop it. I work with an architect and design everything but the building. Drainage, Utilities, Parking, Grading, Lighting, Landscaping and other Site Work. Also any permitting from Municipal, County and Federal as needed.

Municipal Engineering, I handle Capital Road Improvements. Each Municipality we get a money from the Government for improvements. We pick a needed section of roadway in town and improve it. I also review other Engineer's plans to make sure they are in conformance with my town's rules and regulations.

I know it doesn't sound too exciting.

Can't say it's not exciting, it's the field I entered in college

List some of your favorite superheroes, say like 15

Ever felt like playing a video game sitting upside down?

Name 5 songs and 5 hype members that those songs remind you of?

What is your favorite Batmobile?

What's your favorite scary movie?

What's the best thing about Halloween?

Worst?

Why did the legless chicken cross the road?

Considering your longtime tenure here at the Hype, where do you see the site 10 years from now? Will it still be growing, stalemating or dimminishing? And do you think its success will be exclusively tied to the rise or fall of the Comic book movie medium in the future or is it self-sustaining?

Spider-Aziz asks:

Can't say it's not exciting, it's the field I entered in college
Well Good Luck. I'll be sure to ask more the field and you during your 15 minutes.

List some of your favorite superheroes, say like 15

Cyclops - I always liked the leaders of groups. Optimus Prime, Lion-O. So I always liked Cyclops through his time in X-Factor/X-Men etc. Was really disappointed in his portrayal in Avengers vs. X-Men. I really felt it was forced and uncharacteristic for most of the people involved.

Batman - I got into Batman because of the 89 movie. It was later fortified with the Batman Year One and The Dark Knight Returns and later the Animated Series. But I became a true fan after Morrison's JLA Batman really showcasing Batman's position as the General of the JLA.

Archangel - My namesake. I was never really a fan of the Original Angel with his feathery wings, but when they turned him blue with metal wings, I really took a liking to the character. I don't know what he's been up to but I did see him redo his costume during X-Force with the Black and Silver which I think he looks pretty bad ass in.

Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner) - I never really was a fan of the original Green Lantern (Hal Jordan). I started reading comics the time Kyle was around and I found him to be more identifiable then Jordan. The rookie GL learning on the go, and having an artist backround which gave him more imagination than the giant fists and bubbles of the previous GL.

Invincible - This was short lived, but I was really into Invincible a few years ago. Loved the writing of the character, however, after I kinda stopped buying comics, I had to use the internet to see what he was up to.

Captain America - I use to think Cap was hokey and it wasn't until reading Civil War and later playing him in Marvel Ultimate Alliance that I started to have an appreciation for him. And the portrayal of Cap by Chris Evans in the movie and in Avengers solidified it.

Nightwing - I always liked Grayson better as Nightwing then as Robin. He was never as dark as Batman but still garnered respect. Obviously the later Batman Animated Series, and even Young Justice I feel give a great interpretation of the character.

Iron Man - I was a late fan with him mainly because of RDJ's portrayal. I was obviously Team Captain America during Civil War but grew as a fan because of the movie.

Grifter - Grifter was my favorite character form the Wildcats. I thought of him as a cross between Wolverine and Gambit. Really loved the simplicity of his costume too. Just like a pulled down red sheet over his face.

Spider-Man - I love the black costumed Spider-Man but I was a fan before the movies. I liked how he was the every day super hero who had problems.

Robin (Tim Drake) - Tim Drake was around for a while when I first started really reading Batman. His portrayal at least later on as a detective on par with Batman. Obviously he also started having Robin wear pants. Just for that, he deserves to be on my list.

Nite Owl - Out of all the Watchman characters, my favorite is Nite Owl and not because he got to bang Silk Spectre at the end. Felt he was the level headed one of the group.

Leonardo - Again, like with Cyclops, I usually like the charismatic leader of the group and add the two katana swords which would have been my weapon of choice.

Jean Grey - Before they bastardized Jean in X-Men 3, I always liked the relationship between Scott and Jean, maybe because I'm a big romantic at heart but I do hope in the future they put Scott and Jean back together.

Superman - Thanks to Christopher Reeve and the Animated Series, and my underoos when I was younger, it's hard not to be a fan of Superman.

If the Hype named you moderator for the site, would you rule with an iron fist such as Emperor Palpatine??

Who are your favorite top ten characters in G.I.Joe: A Real American Hero??

Who is your favorite SW cantina alien??

What is your favorite Star Wars locale??

Chewbacca or Worf?? Who'd win??

Well this is completely coming off from some of the discussions we've had from the advice forum but... You're giving out some very good and matured advice about relationships, life, and just having a stable life in general. How did you to that point in your life? Y'know, just having all the chaos of experience come down to personal-insight, or wisdom?

I got a few more:

Have you ever felt compelled, or even condemned, to do something? If so, what was it?

Dreams. Hopes for the future. Any of those come your way these days?

And finally: How'd you like to live your life when you're pushing 70?

Spider-Aziz asks:

List 15 games you really like

Here's a grid I did of my Top 9.

FavoriteGames.jpg

Mass Effect - Love this series. Still a little sore about the ending of the 3rd one.

Batman Arkham Asylum/City - Probably the best Superhero/Batman game I ever played. Jumping around and using the grapple.

Metal Gear - I started playing this game when it was on the NES. I've gone to Snake's Revenge, Metal Gear Solid, Sons of Liberty, Snake Eater and MG4.

Hitman - Started playing this game with Hitman 2 and playing the next 2 games. Loved going through levels by killing everyone or just killing the intended person. Little upset that they are messing with the concept in the next game.

Splinter Cell - I know there would be some Metal Gear comparisons, but I do like the weaponry and the whole stealth aspect is one of my favorites.

Knights of the Old Republic - Love, love this game. Best twist in a storyline that I ever played in a game.

Red Dead Redemption - I thought this was GTA with horses, but the storyline was incredible.

X-Wing/Tie-Fighter/Starfighter/Rogue Squadron - Love playing as an X-Wing, Tie-Fighter, Jedi Starfighter

GTA III/GTA IV - I know after a while, all the missions seem to be repetitive but GTA IV came back with such an engaging story.

Gears of War - Beating this game on Insanity is probably one of my favorite achievements.

Fallout 3 - I must have spent over $100 on this game including the DLC. Loved that you could beat this game in so many different ways.

Super Mario 3 - I played this game so much, when I was younger.

Metroid - I just remember constantly going back and forth on this game especially as you got more powers to open up other areas.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance - I really liked this game, I always had Captain America in my group. Felt they kinda half assed the second game.

Dark Forces/Jedi Outkast/Jedi Academy - First time I played with a character with a lightsaber.

Ever felt like playing a video game sitting upside down?
I get headaches when I play 1st person shooters. :(

You know I've had my issues with where SHH was going. I miss extremely the Wild West of a few years ago, and there are very few threads that I participate in now. I don't really complain because it is what it is. It's not 6 years ago. And obviously the old adage of if you don't like it, leave. Which I think a lot of people did.

I don't think it'll come as a shock but obviously Community is nowhere near what it use to be. Blame it on people growing up and moving on, blame it on people being banned for a G Rated version or that the medium is slowly dying.

I know there's "40k" posters here, but how many are active? 1k? 2k?

I can't speak for the Bat forums or Avengers forums or some of the other comic forums and participation, but Community is a ghost town.

I just don't see it growing. And I'd be surprised if it's not merged with Coming soon or into some sort of General movie site.

Spider-Aziz asks:

What is your biggest regret and if you could relive that moment what would you have done differently?
I've answered this in other 15 minute threads. And I usually don't regret things, I think we learn as much from our mistakes as well as our successes. I mean there are some things I wish I jumped on earlier. I waited on getting a house and eventually got the one I wanted.

Tell the story of your first love, not necessarily your greatest love.
It was my first gf. We weren't together that long just a few months but it was my first taste of love and it left a longer impression on me that kinda interfered with my next relationship.

What’s your biggest geek collectible?

Showtime at 2 in the morning.

Who has been your biggest influence and why?
My grandmother instilled a lot morality in me and one of my best friends was like a older bigger brother and let me make my own mistakes and knew that I'd find my own way.

Where is your next vacationspot?
Don't know yet. Hopefully some place warm.

If you moved tomorrow, outside of family or friends, etc. what would you miss most about the place you were living?
All the NY sports, I'd have to pay extra for all the sports packages. I'd miss NY/NY pizza and delis. I'd miss being 45 min away from the City.

I'd assume it was running at the speed of sound and got it's legs caught on some sort of trap. So physics.

It's all experience and common sense. Not to say I haven't made mistakes or messed up in terms of relationships. I thought that the nice route was the way to go, thought that some people would be happy with friends with benefits, thought that not saying those 3 words right a way even though I felt it was the way to go.

A lot of things your learn to do is by learning what happens when you do the exact opposite.

Yeah, I was big into not saying I love you, and it just happened one time that I felt compelled to just blurt it out......during a makeout session. :o

Dreams. Hopes for the future. Any of those come your way these days?
I do get a lot of deja vu feelings like things happen that I remember from dreams. They are usually innocuous and trivial events, but sometimes I do something and it feels like I dreamed it previously.

And finally: How'd you like to live your life when you're pushing 70?
Hopefully retired and going on quarterly cruises.

Are you a Ben and Jerry's man?

Who is your mustache idol?

Monster Mash? Great Song or Greatest Song? Prince's Bat-Dance is also an acceptable answer.

I can't believe you told me to stop dating Asian women... what a foreign concept. That's like asking you to give up on liking Star Wars.

How much do you bench?

Are you an iPhone or Android user? Do you have a cult-like devotion to that device or are you more open minded to use any device that has the best features?

Has engineering always been your passion or were there other career fields you were exploring during your younger years?

How are your culinary preparation skills? What is your specialty?

What does Erzette think about your geek-side?
