The TV forum has been really fun lately. I also spend time in the Hype's wasteland that is the Games Forum.
What brought you here?
I was looking for Spider-Man movie info back in 2001. I mostly just lurked on the forum until I decided to join up.
What made you stay?
The people I met mostly and debating things is a bit intoxicating.
Who is your Hype Nemesis?
No enemies here. A few posters have the gift of being annoying, but not enough to make them my nemesis.

Before I started working in the food business, it was medium well. Now i've gone to medium to medium rare. I have, on a few occasions, had it Pittsburgh.

Home! I know it is a give up answer, but I love to cook. I spent 14 years of my life in the food industry, so I have picked up a few things here and there.

Star Wars during the Old Republic Era, when being a Jedi was really fun and, well, not being hunted to extinction.

The JFK assination. Not knowing, conclusively, has always intrigued me.

District 9. It's really dificult to go to the movies these days, because we have three kids.

Hourly, it's Lost. Thirty minutes, it's Big Bang Theory.

Going to Colorado with my Grandparents almost every summer. We would drive there and my Grandfather would always detour us to some new and obscure place on the way. It's really something you appreciate when you look back at it.
An embarrassing moment?
My pants split in the back when I was at work. I was helping break down a ballroom setup on Easter. I bent down to pick up a table and heard a rip. It was right in front of my boss.

Have you been following the Winter Olympics? If so, which event is your favorite?

It's funny, because I usually never watch the Winter Olympics. This year has been very different for some reason. I love watching the Hockey and Speed Skating. I have found myself even enjoying Curling and Figure Skating as well.

Her story is very touching. Seeing her father in tears made me tear up as well.

No illnesses so far. Diabetes does run on my mom's side. So I am very careful with eating the right things,

The original by far. It was the first real "scary" movie that I ever watched.

The first one. I really liked the idea, but they killed it with the sequels.

This is a tough one. O one hand TDK was superior to all of the others, but I have a ton of sentimental feelings toward '89. I'll have to go with TDK. Although it is very close.

Almost Everyone says ESB, but for I love ROTJ. Luke was so bad*** and I have the last fight scene memorized.

Wonder Woman. Linda Carter and I had a connection.

An archeologist. At least an Indiana Jones type of archeologist.

Raiders of the Ark. We had it on beta and I watched it at least 500 times.

Iron Man. I never gave him a shot until the movie. Great character.

How can you not me optimistic? Marvel is making some amazing movies right now. I don't see them slowing down at all.

I always liked the Ultimate Avengers idea, where they are assembled to take doing the Hulk. He isn't really a "villian", so I think the idea is cool.

G.I. Joe. It wasn't that it was just a bad movie, it was also the fact that it stomped on my childhood.

Wow. in no particular order: Memento, Mystic River, In Bruges, Kill Bill Vol I/II, and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
Best 5 films of the 90's?
This even more tough. In no particular order: Se7en, Braveheart, Pulp Fiction, The Usual Suspects, and Shawshank Redemption. God, there are so many more. The 90's owned the 2000's now that I look at it.
If you could have lived during any historical period (not now!), which would you choose and why?
The 50's. I love old Noir movies. It seemed to be a more simpler time back then.

Actress: Living, Meryl Streep. Not living, Katharine Hepburn

Perhaps a controversial selection: Hitchcock.

Meh. I thought Raimi was doing ok. SM3 had issues, but I fault ther studio more than him. I will reserve judgement until I see/hear more on the reboot.
What did you think of Superman Returns?
I thought it was ok. I wish they had not made it a love letter to Donner. It would have been better if it had it's own identity.
Where do you want the Superman franchises to go?
Start over, but not with an origin movie. We all know the story of how he became Superman. Just jump right in to a well written, action packed movie. I heard Goyer is on board for re-writes, so that's a big step in the right direction.

I loved the power-ups idea. Very fresh. I think it was a mistake getting rid of the Idols. They could have co-existed. I would give it a 9. I loved the challenges. Keyboard Cat FTW!

What is your favourite thing to cook?
Anything Italian. I make a great Alfredo sauce. I also make my own pizza dough. That's a bit time consuming, but is well worth it.

Do you miss being the primary earner in your family?
Sometimes. My wife gave up her career to raise our first child. I missed so much by working all the time and she was going stir crazy. So I repayed by her giving up my career for her to pursue hers. I get to spend time with the kids and see their milestones. It really worked out for both of us and no one else is raising our children (Daycare).

Which chefs do you admire or follow in terms of recipes?
Alton Brown. I did Thanksgiving at my house for the first time for the whole family this year and used his turkey recipe:

He is very knowledgable of all things food related.
I also like Bobby Flay. His recipes and style are fitting for our family and what we like.

The French Room. The amount of detail in the service and food preparation were top notch. The food was exquisite
