For LibidoLoca:

Which stereotype do you detest the most?
Anything that has to do with skin color or sexual orientation.

Favorite sandwich meat?
Turkey. Jive flavor.

If you had the power to destroy Mexico, would you get a dog?
But...I like Mexico. :csad:

Which sitcom reflects your life?
Mad Men. :funny:

Which superhero would you consume to harness their power?
Thor. There can only be one of us Gods running around here.

Which name do you believe is the worst name in existence?
Gertrude.

If I were a pumpkin, was it because I spoke ill of Oprah?
Oprah is a Goddess...and not one to f*** with. LOL :hrt:

For Spider-Aziz:

You like first person videos?

I really do, actually. Tech has come a long way.

If I were to travel to NYC or Michigan to visit you, what would we do? Where would you take me?

Do you have any bumper stickers or car magnets on your car?

I LOL at you being mad.

LS...question was you can visit a place for a week and then post your how great or bad it was with pictures on Hype. Greece, Vancouver, New Zealand, Aussie

Hurr Durr. ^_^

What animal would you deem worthy of a superhero persona?

If we were on Project Runway, would you stab me in the back when given the chance?

Which 5 Hypesters would you choose as your best friends?

From Marx:

You want me to answer that publically? You can actually ban me now. :funny:

Uh...okay. G-Rated answer. We'd hit the gym. In Michigan, we'd probably see some movies or check out the historical areas, and maybe go down by the river.

In New York...the sky is more the limit. TONS of things to see and do. Times Square alone has enough to last a week.

From Marx:

Do you have any bumper stickers or car magnets on your car?

No, I actually don't. I don't want people to be able to identify my car or say "Caliph is here." I have enemies. :csad:

Have you ever looked up at a star and wondered who else might be looking at it?

Are you into astrology?

Oh. Cryptic much? Um....Australia. Definitely not Vancouver...who lives there? LOL :oldrazz:

From LibidoLoca:

What animal would you deem worthy of a superhero persona?
The Cheetah. Cheetahs are some bad-asses!

If we were on Project Runway, would you stab me in the back when given the chance?
No. I'm a lover, not a fighter. But if you're cute I might press up on ya. That's a better way to weaken the competition. :woot:

Which 5 Hypesters would you choose as your best friends?

Hurm. That's a really tough question! Well, my friendship base has shifted so much here since 2004. But my all-time friends would probably be (in no particular order)

1.) Doggie Lips
2.) Hunter Rider (Rob)
3.) Kel (Kelly)
4.) Marx (Mark)
5.) Mrvlknight (Joe)

These are the people who I have actually gotten tight with beyond the Hype over the years. However, there are others, i.e. Bamfer, Doggie, Jag, C. Lee (who practically raised me here) Justabill, Chaseter, Milkman, Endeavor, the many, many X-Men board members, the huge Fantastic Four fanbase, the entire Mod base, etc. God...so many people to remember that I respect and love here. I guess it's because I have different classes of friends here for different reasons and that's because my role on the Hype has been multi-dimensional. I was blue, then red, then blue again so it's brought me into different circles.

There has been talk by some longer-term members here of missing "the good ole days" or "the glory days" of the Hype. My understanding of those times is that they were nothing more than cliques trying to outdo each other, gang up on various posters, and throw around personal insults and be disrespectful.

How do feel the Hype has changed over the years? Were the so-called good ole glory days so wonderful?

From Marx:

Have you ever looked up at a star and wondered who else might be looking at it?

No.

Are you into astrology?
Um, no. Sorry. :csad:

Have you ever attended a Pride Festival? If so, what did you think?

I don't voice it much (and couldn't really at the time, as a moderator) but now that I've stepped out of the crystal chambers as an ordinary man...

YES, I miss the old days. :waa: Yeah, there were cliques, on-line gang bangs (of the worst kind) and Hype Mods had to constantly run for their money. But I will tell you this: It was like Marvel's classic "Secret Wars" up in this b****! LOL :funny: It was both great and ugly too, and I definitely had my fair share of bruisers and battles. There wasn't a day that passed that I wasn't getting into it with somebody here, but that was part of the place's charm at the time. You have to take into account also that we were seeing the dawning Golden Age of 21st Century Hero films. Some were amazing like Paramount's Spider-Man. And then...we had Fox movies. LOL We had controversial films being made (a latino Susan Storm, Halle Berry's Catwoman, Teh Puffay, etc.) and that really riled up the base. Tensions got high and people got sensitive. And I think that spilled over into every crack of this place.

But at least this place was interesting.

Then The Great Divide happened. And it was really something, in fact, even certain mods went down with it. Many migrated to the other site exclusively, some tried to wing it on both sites for a while, and then there were people like me who would go over to the other side in "stealth mode" to see what was going on out of curiosity and mourning over the loss of friends. I think We (the Hype) handled it well considering the crap we had to suffer through, but I also miss the diversity and hard-edge we lost with the departed posters. The Hype just had more color and culture then I think. We've never really gotten it back. And I'm a rather outspoken, gritty person myself so I've never loved the extremely PC world we've got going on here now, but I'm used to it I guess.

The Hype is still above and beyond the best hero site on-line, but our Community is nowhere what it used to be.

From Marx:

Have you ever attended a Pride Festival? If so, what did you think?

Swore I'd never go, but yeah, a couple... Folsom, etc. There are probably pics of me out there on-line wearing something scandalous. LOL :oldrazz:

But honestly? I am not big on Pride parades. That's David's thing. And I only went with him because I know what goes on there and I know what kind of trouble David naturally attracts because of his looks. And we enjoyed it together. But I always leave those events feeling empty.

...being a moderator doesn't take away your ability to have an opinion. I don't feel that anything you just said isn't anything that couldn't have been said while you were red.

I've only been to one Pride festival and parade. I have always opposed them because I feel the overly sexualized aspect is the only aspect ever pushed but I was so genuinely surprised by the feeling of community there. It made me realize that I'm "not the only gay" around.

You? In something scandalous? No way! :oldrazz:

That's as shocking and unexpected as me saying something vulgar or *****y.

Well, there is a time and a place to say stuff.

But at the time we really had to hold it together because it really was us versus them. For as cool as people were then, they WERE bringing a serious problem into the mix that was getting out of control. So as a mod I kept my thinking to myself because I had a job to do, and keeping morale up was important.

And besides, what some didn't realize is that I was fairly close to some of the situations, so...yeah. Zippered shut. :csad:

Well, David's a lawyer and therefore he was totally into the Civil Rights aspect of things. He's a hot man so obviously men were pushing up on him (and me) and we ended getting into some serious fist-a-cuffs one year with another couple who wanted to get David to join them for some threesome s***. They wouldn't take no for an answer and then one them grabbed him by his s***.

I wasn't going for that s***. :cmad: And I'm a pacifist: I will pass my fist through your face if you mess with my dude. Had to pitch the one guy into one of the stands, totally destroyed the poor display. :csad: So much for peaceful demonstrations. Thing's just got really ugly.

I think I wore a skin-tight navy blue cop outfit one year. It had a spandex shirt with a matching navy blue jock-strap. Had my helmet on, with the old-school "CHiPs" sun-glasses. Those dudes were like ravenous wolves. LOL :funny: I've never been touched by so many men in my life.
