Those are all great characters! I am very curious to see how a Nolan Catwoman would be. He's done really well with the other characters, I'd like to see his take on a female villain. Batman 3 has SO MANY possibilities with the direction of the story.

Catwoman could be a love interest.

Riddler because everyone wants to know who Batman is.

See, I feel like they sort of covered this topic in TDK, and wouldn't want another guy to figure out who Batman is, since that was pretty much the last franchise's problem every movie.

Black Mask/Penguin because someone needs to take over the mob.

That would be nice, as long as it didn't stray too heavily into that territory.

What are your thoughts on Christopher Nolan taking on Superman?

As long as the next Superman does not involve:
-campy Lex Luthor,
-Tired Lois/Clark romance with no resolution,
-kryptonite,
-Cyclops,
-super-son,

I think he'll do okay. I would really like to make the superman series in a more space-oriented direction, though, bringing some off-world heavy-hitter villains into the mix.

Why do you never visit Doc Ock's lair anymore?

Probably because Spider-Man, in any incarnation, does not interest me anymore. That one-two punch of OMD and Spider-Man 3 really just ended it. Marvel's refusal to let Spider-Man grow up or be taken seriously by absolutely anyone in the Marvel U (Spider-Woman talks down to this guy? Seriously?), making a deal with the devil, of all things?

Plus there was that year-long drought where Doc Ock just vanished off the face of the Earth after he peaced out from the Thunderbolts, and Ult. Ock is basically Magneto.

I still think Doc Ock is cool, and certainly his fans are, but there doesn't seem to be anything new for me to say about it/him.

Probably because he is Chris Nolan, and he's very emotionally needy.
Now go put Catwoman in the next Batman movie, Marx.

No to the first. And not as thoroughly as I'd like to the second. Arthurian lore fascinated me the most as a young'n, and some Greek mythology really fascinated me (particularly the labyrinth and the Minotaur of Crete, for some reason.)

Also, Beowulf. One of my favorite stories of all time.

Favorite film? I have no idea. I like a lot of movies.

I'll go with Aliens/Ghostbusters/For a Few Dollars More/Escape From New York/The Rocketeer/The Third Man/Psycho/Full Metal Jacket/Waiting.../Moon/Iron Man/Raiders of the Lost Ark/Empire Strikes Back/Star Trek II, 8, and Pine-scented/The Fugitive.

Favorite actor--Tommy Lee Jones. Not that he cares...

I think John Krasinski would make an excellent pre-super soldier serum Steve Rogers.

Why didn't you like the Zemeckis Beowulf?

Because it made Grendel a really annoyingly loud mentally damaged troglodyte, Grendel's mom into...golden, t-1000 Angelina Jolie with "moose and squirrel" accent (and, by not killing her, robbed me of the underwater battle, which was my favorite part of the book), and made more use of his motion capture technology that still really doesn't work and he should stop.

He did include the dragon, which I liked, but overall it was a bad, bad mess.
So far the 13th warrior has been the best Beowulf adaptation, and that was all "realistic" and crap.

I think the future has a lot of potential. Just the fact that they're laying the groundwork for an Avengers movie is something I never thought would happen, and WB's making a movie about somebody other than Batman or Superman?
