Top ten? Yeesh, I barely know my top five.
)Batman. Because he's Batman. I mean, do I really need to explain? Yes? Too bad.
)Deadpool. He's got the balance of comedy and tragedy and action down pat, specifically when written by Joe Kelly.
)Thor. His mythology, characters, and story arcs are among the most epic and emotional in all of comic-dom.
)Spider-Man. Similar to Deadpool, but his stories are less consistent. And, frankly, I'm not too big a fan of the latest direction, though I don't hate it as much as some.
)Green Lantern. Similar to my reasons for Thor, but IN SPACE.
)Superman. The original, the icon. The hope he inspires alone puts him on the list.
)Zayne Carrick. The ideal Jedi, what more to say? (Yes, I consider him a superhero. Deal.)
)Nightwing. Like Batman, but without the grimdark. Good counter-balance.
)Iron Man. Thanks to the film, I started getting into the books and character and love them. World's Most Wanted is one of my favorite arcs of the past year.
)The Incredible Hulk. I just like him.
