Why so serious?

Why not? Nah, actually, I am a very unserious person. I like to take it easy and just make a joke.

Where do you see yourself and what do you see yourself doing 10 years from now?

Hopefully working in some capacity in the film industry. I'm coming into my last year of uni doing a film making course and it has been my dream since I was a young child.

What is your first name?

My first name is Jamie!

Who do you feel closest to here on the Hype?

That's quite a hard question as I haven't been arond here for a while so I have probably lost contact with people I was quite close to. But I'll be civil and say everyone!

If you were to meet any Hypester in real life, who would it be and what would you do?

I think maybe Kane, we could talk Breaking Bad and wrestling

Where is home for you? Where would you like home to be?

Home for me is Brighton in the UK. quite a famous seaside town. But for the last 2 years I've been living in London for uni.
I would love to live in Australia and hopefully I will soon (at least for a while) as my girlfriend is Australian and she has to go back there soon.

My interests are mainly films, comics (no surprise), reading and music.

Hey TDK Joker... What do you think about the next Man of Steel Sequel: Batman vs Superman?

And who do you think should play the next Batman/Bruce Wayne?

I'm excited! of course I am! But...with the way the announced it at comic con, with the reading of Dark Knight Returns, of Batman beating Superman, I think maybe they are rushing into it a bit. Maybe have the sequel setting Superman up a bit more, have Luthor come out and defend Metroplis against this alien who destroyed half the city, and then maybe glimpse Batman at the end.
But I am very excited!

I don't actually know! With recent rumours, I think Jon Hamm could be good.

I'm aware I'll come under fire for that particular listing, but it's my choice. It may be for nostalgia of placing Forever above Batman 89, but i could watch it a lot more.

Batman is my favourite because we could be him. If we devoted enough time to train (and had billions of dollars) we could be him. And he's standing up for whats right, and defending the city that he and his parents loved so much.

How long would you have given up on the Joker name if you couldn't get TDK Joker?

hahaha, I do remember signing up in the heat of the excitement for the TDK virals back in 2007, and of course being insanely excited for TDK, hence the choice of TDK Joker.

I do kind of wish I went with another name though. My nickname in real life and my username on PSN and mostly everything else is Jame Jame, so i probably would have gone with that if i could rethink things, as TDK Joker is a little dated now perhaps, and kind of relegates me into Batfandom whenever I try to post in other heroes forums.

What made DareDevil an interesting character?

What are your thoughts on DareDevil the movie? Both theatrical and director cuts?

What made DareDevil an interesting character?

I love Daredevil (especially Bendis' and Maleev's run) because he's been through so much horrible things and yet he continues to fight.
I love his powers and that he's a catholic who fights crime as a devil. (not a great answer, but it's actually quite hard to think of why)

What are your thoughts on DareDevil the movie? Both theatrical and director cuts?

I actually really enjoy the movie. I have yet to see the directors cut, but i hear it improves upon the theatrical cut, and i really like that anyway, so I can't lose!
Again, it could be slight nostalgia as i was so excited back in 2003, but i really do love it.

Name a few popular comic runs you don't enjoy and disagree with how much you see praised

I'm not a huge fan of Geoff Johns. Not really sure why, but I just kind of don't read his stuff much. Drawing a bit of a blank on any other main comic runs at the moment. Sorry!

Tell us about some of your favorite movies. What made each a favorite?

I love Memento. I love the way the story is told as it puts you into Leonard's shoes, as he doesn't remember how he got into a situation and you don't know! I also love David Julyan's score for it as it is really atmospheric and haunting.

Some of your least favorite movies. What made each the way it is in your view?

I really didn't care for The Simpsons Movie. I have always loved The Simpsons and was really excited for the movie, but I just really did not care for it, and have kind of just gone off watching any new episodes.

Popular movies you don't like/care about that much?

I thought Slumdog Millionaire was a bit overrated. I kind of enjoyed it, but thought everything surrounding it was blown out of proportion.

Tell us the story of your first love.

You have chosen a good one!

I've had girls I've had crushes on, but I've never really been in love.
Until last year.
My best friend had a friend at college who had to go back to Australia. SHE has a friend who was travelling around Europe, and was told to go to Brighton, to check out the clubs.
So he had to show around these 2 strangers and take them clubbing. So he asked me to go along. And I did.
As soon as I saw her, wow. Butterflies. We went clubbing, we talked, we went out for drinks, we kissed. This all happened on a Wednesday.
We spent the day together on Friday, and then early Saturday morning, I went to Gatwick to see her before she flew off to Florida for 6 months to work at Disney World.
We skyped and Facebooked (that's a term, right?) everyday, before I was able to visit her in December, and we went to New York too!
But after that, I had to come back to England and she went back to Australia...

EXCEPT! She's back here in England with me RIGHT NOW! And in a couple of weeks, we'll be back in Disney with me family!

Honestly, being half way across the world from each other, does suck, but it feels like it's only a small hurdle. We'll have to go back to skyping soon (which I dread everyday) but I love her with all I am, and I know it's just a challenge. Hopefully I'll be spending christmas and new years with her in Australia this year.

How did you get those scars?

I actually have a few scars. My most noticeable is one just above the middle of my eyebrows from chickenpox when I was younger. My girlfriend teases me about it a bit.

Then I have one across the bridge of my nose, from when I tried to do the thing where skaters kick the end of their board and then catch the underside. But I just ended up kicking it directly into my face.

I have one across my left middle finger from a high school wood cutting accident.

A burn on the back of my right hand from playing around with a candle and a metal spoon during a dinner party.

A scar at the corner of my right eye from leaning on the front two legs of a chair and smacking my eye on the corner of a table when I was 4.

I think that's about it.
