Over many torturous hours, she had been repeatedly raped, sodomized and forced to perform oral sex, a prosecutor told a jury on Thursday. The accused, Robert A. Williams, 31, had doused the woman’s face and body with boiling water and bleach, forced her to swallow handfuls of pills and to chase them with beer, sealed her mouth with glue, and bound her wrists and legs with shoelaces, cords and duct tape, said the prosecutor, Ann P. Prunty. And now, Ms. Prunty said, he was asking the woman to gouge out her own eyes with a pair of scissors.

feel good story of the year!

cant wait for the film adaptation.

This story of the 19-hour rape and the Sylvia Likens story that Zero_Vault posted makes me sick. I don't care if two wrongs don't make a right, I just can not imagine how twisted and sick people can be. I'd want to, literally, cut the motherf***ers into pieces.

I've read a lot of stuff in my life, and seen some pretty bad things as well. But reading this story, has literally made me sick to my stomach.

"If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life in prison."

I think he deserves much worse than that,

Lethal Injection FTW!!!

Naw, he should spend life in prison, then get beat down and raped by some of the inmates.

Sometimes i wish that Jigsaw existed, so we can throw these sickos in his "game"

i know it's kinda f***ed up, but her story would make a great premise for the 'i spit on your grave' remake.

"Mr. Williams, who was homeless at the time of his arrest about a week later at the scene of a burglary in Queens, has a lengthy police record dating to his childhood, the authorities have said.

He was charged in a murder as a juvenile, though the outcome of that case is sealed, a law enforcement official said, and he spent eight years in prison for an attempted-murder conviction in 1996. "

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

GET RID OF THE YOUTH CRIMINAL JUSTICE ACT

all it does is protect psychos-in-the-making...

I was selected for jury duty for this case...and i was there and saw this mans face..this case is expected to go for 4 weeks, but its gonna end up going for longer then that because the guy is accused of 71 freaking things!. I just couldnt sit there and listen to this testimony..but based on the press reports of the accounts i would have sent him to prison for life.

btw jury duty questioning for this case took 2 days

Curious, how did he explain himself?

from other case:

"Two teenagers — a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old — have been arrested. Eight others are being sought."

"Avion Lawson, 14, and Nathan Walker, 16, will be charged as adults in the assault and gang rape, prosecutors said. They are jailed without bail."

See that's how you do it... on the other hand they're should be no "charged as adults" because all charges should be the same.

GET RID OF THE YOUTH CRIMINAL JUSTICE ACT.

I think parents should be held accountable along with the kids for anything a kid does under the age of 15 though...

he had his head down the whole time with shackles on his legs too, i saw him look up only once and seriously was emotionless...the lawyers and the judge kept asking us if we can promise to base this case on the EVIDENCE only and put everything aside like the press coverage and what ppl outside the court say. I got to know a couple of the jurors chosen during this process...its going to be really really painful for anyone to listen to this case.

btw the defense lawyer sucks...he kept getting objections left and right from the DA and was being sustained or w/e you call it

Parents aren't always the ones to blame, though. You have some 16 year old girl that makes great grades, and seems to be perfect. She plays for the softball team, and does community service. She rarely gets into disciplinary problems with the parents. One night, she lies to her parents, says she is going to a movie, but instead goes to a party with her friend. There, she tries some illegal drugs for the first time. She becomes an addict, but does a good job covering it up. She gets busted by a cop one night while getting a speeding ticket.

Is it the parents' fault? ow, I know "illegal drugs" may appear not as bad as murdering someone, but I think my point still comes across. It's not always the parents' fault, and for it to be it all the time is only a cop out. The kid knew what she was doing. She deserves 100% of the blame. Getting rid of the Youth Criminal Justice Act may be a good idea, but let the kid get the full on blame that is deserved.
