1987 GIJOE the movie coming to US theaters on June 23/25!

Fathom Events is doing a special showing on June 23/25 in select US theaters for the 1987 GIJOE animated movie by Sunbow/Marvel productions.

This has never been seen in theaters; it was released direct to video in 1987 and then later shown in syndication as a 5 part episode. It did not premiere in theaters due to the box office failure of Transformers the
Movie and My Little Pony movie in 1986.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the GIJOE A Real American Hero toyline, Marvel Comic Book release. This also the 35th anniversary of the film itself.
