2006 Nfl Draft

I doubt it, but if he does go with Dallas, they might incorporate a 4-3 for him, but thats why I also said, they might just conver him to linebacker, which is why I don't think they'll pick him anyway.

The Cowboys will probally draft CB Jimmy Williams & convert him to FS. He's 6'3, 213 lbs & runs a 4.42.

Sounds good to me - I would have them picking Allen, but his failed physicals scare me.

Do you know the details of his failed physical?

I know he hurt his knee very badly against the (my) Georgia Bulldogs. He ran the 40 at the combine (and did very well actually) but he did not participate in any running drills that involved making cuts and what not - I found this suspicious then and I was proven right. It was for that reason that I was never on the Allen bandwagon.

He'll probally go in the second or third round just becuase of his failed physical.

Id like the ravens to trade up and get micheal huff, but the most likely thing for them to do is proberbly trade their first round pick , for aditional picks, concidering that they only have to picks in the first day (no 3rd rounder). If this happens I would like them to target the following ( Gabe watston,Antonio Cromartrie or Ernie Simms)

Like stormin norman said, allen would be better, even Donte Whitner would be a good pick. Plus i couldn't see Williams falling that far.

If the Ravens do trade up & get Micheal Huff, can you imagine having Ed Reed & Michael Huff as your two safeties?! The Ravens need to focus on the d-line and draft some big uglies becuase you don't want Ray Lewis even more unhappy.

I think back to Boss Bailey in 2003, he was suppose to be a 1st rounder - had injury problems offseason, went mid 2nd. I see Allen being hurt even more than this because of how close the physical was to the draft.

It would be crazy if fell all the way down to the 4th round. I think someone will probally take a chance on him in the 3rd round.

I like their mock draft, Ko Simpson in the second round would be a steal.

I see probably late 2nd - however a knee injury is a very scary thing to a NFL orginization.

That too is my site :) Bush is a great pick for the Texans.

If i was the Texans i would take Ferguson, i mean Davis is a good back and if Carr could stay on his feet they would be better.

They should take McNeil in the Second, and score Jean-Gilles in the 3rd. BOOM Instant OLine Gold.

The reason Houston is the prefect fit for Bush is just because they have Davis. Bush will only be asked to run the ball 15 times, catch the ball 9, have 3-4 PR's and score 3 TD's a day. I am not sure if Bush can be a 25 carry back in the league.

I think Mario Williams should be the player that the texans select , as a need and not as a want

 That sounds even better. I could see Davis in a 3rd down/goaline role.

its all fine and dandy having bush score lots of tds for the texans but at the end of the day it doesnt mean a damn thing if you cannot defend

For some strange unexplained reason I like the Houston Texans (I have NEVER lived in Houston, or even crossed the Texas border for that matter) and so I often look at the moves they make in the FA. It is my opinion that Houston (if they draft well) could have the best offense in the nation. If they include 2 great OL (which those two men I mentioned are - Max Jean-Gilles would be a steal in the third) AND Reggie Bush, man that is scary.

The Colts and Rams would disagree. I am not saying that Houston will win the Super Bowl this year - but with the right offensive tools they could easily win 8-9-10 games and get a playoff spot. Right now that is all Houston needs. Build a dominant O, win games, sell tickets, generate fan interest, lose in the playoffs (to the Bengals or Colts IMO this year) and worry about D in 2007.
