So with the year coming to a close, what movies did you feel worthy of your hard-earned money? It seems a lot of people on this forum are satisfied with waiting for DVD's which is something I definitely can't do. I love going to the movies and probably spent more than I ever have on it this year. The movies I watched in theaters, in order of release, include the following:
1. 27 dresses
2. Jumper
3. Step Up 2: The Streets
4. Never Back Down
5. Street Kings
6. The Forbidden Kingdom
7. Forgetting Sarah Marshall
8. Baby Mama
9. Iron Man
10. Speed Racer
11. The Strangers
12. The Incredible Hulk
13. Wall-E
14. Wanted
15. Hancock
16. The Dark Knight
17. The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
18. Tropic Thunder
19. Star Wars: The Clone Wars
20. Vicky Cristina Barcelona
21. Burn After Reading
22. Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist
23. Max Payne
24. W.
25. High School Musical 3: Senior Year
26. Quantum of Solace
27. Twilight
28. The Day the Earth Stood Still
29. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
And since I just realized I'm one away from 30, I'm watching Gran Torino tomorrow. I've never counted how many movies I've watched any other year but this is pretty solid. And considering I've seen a few of these movies twice (TDK 3 times) I've spent well over $300 in theaters this year.
