Rumor is a popular option would be putting in midseason, essentially give non pro bowlers 2 bye weeks, and letting the winner have home field in the super ala the world series, and obligating player to play in it if selected.
This makes the game actually meaningful to the players, and also good for the business side, as 2 cities would be able to get excited about a possible super bowl instead of one, kind of like the olympics city selection.
Maybe if every venue had a dome.
It would never happen. There is too much planning that goes into the Super Bowl and too much money would be lost by giving people two weeks notice of where the Super Bowl will be.
Keyword is Midseason.
As after like, week 8. Theyd have 3 months to prepare.
Still isn't enough.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Super Bowl played in the snow of Buffalo or a rainy, muddy game in Pittsburgh.
That said, it won't happen so they should just get rid of the Pro Bowl. Or kick off the season with it. Either way.
get it? More. Panthers. Moore Panthers?Who thinks Panthers will draft Tebow? I want Moore to start. Who wants Moore to start for Panthers and have slogan 'Moore for the Panthers'get it? More. Panthers. Moore Panthers?

The Panthers have far greater needs than Tebow. Julius Peppers is close to being a free agent. They also need a DT.

They also have to think about WR. Steve Smith isn't getting any younger.
No Colts or Saints players were even playing in the Pro Bowl.Hopefully NO Colts and Saints players were hurt during Pro Bowl

Peppers can go off somewhere. He was paid too much and was so-so for the team this year. He didn't wanna play on Carolina last year. Yeah, I'll miss seeing him as a Panther...but just ****ing go off dude.
Dwanye Jarret. Carolina's back up TE's Rosario and Barnidge have speed and hands as well.
I think Carolina should try and sign WR Kevin Walter from Houston if he is available this offseason...I think he is (or was?).
Off season no brainer trades/FA's:
1) Peppers to Jets. Tannenbaum has probably been the most aggressive GM I have ever seen in the NFL, more so than Jerry ever was, so he will not hesitate to make a deal.
2) Boldin to the Dolphins/Bears. Just eat the 2nd round pick and grab this guy. Henne had nothing to work with last year. Cutler was putrid. Unless they are waiting for a Marshall meltdown in Denver, I'd just acquire Boldin and be done with it.
3) McNabb to the Vikings. For a 1st and 3rd it's a no brainer. I'd even condsider two first rounders. You can't wait around for Rosenfels or Tavaris. Hell, I ain't even sure if both QB's are still on their roster. McNabb instantly puts them back in the title game barring injuries IMO.
They can release Farve. There is no guaranteed money there.
I can't see the Eagles throwing away the year unless it's two number ones in return, but if they don't get it done next year they basically lose Kolb and McNabb is a year and a half older with a possible lock out on the horizon. Or maybe work Kolb in there mid season but I can't see him getting to a SB, and McNabb would be gone the following year anyway.
like the movie 'The Replacements'. They can when he retires.
Of course, he'll probably unretire weeks later and come back and play for Holmgren in Cleveland.
